The staff would always try to accommodate our needs, but we are mostly grateful to two of the gentlemen working at the front desk, Obonio Guerra and the other one, unfortunately we did not quite catch his name, as they both always made us feel at home and very friendly. Staff during breakfast was also very nice. Upon our arrival to the hotel, Obonio was very welcoming and when asked for dinner suggestions, he gave us two, one of them being his best recommendation and we tried it. Needless to say that he did not nor the restaurant disappoint us at all. The food was great and prices were very reasonable. One day we had to leave before breakfast time and we asked if the hotel could provided with a small box to take out and we were so amazed and definitely delighted when found that this nice man (the one we could not catch his name), had prepared quite and literally big boxes that carried sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, fruits and juice for each one of us. So very thoughtful that it really warmed our hearts. We also like that small local restaurants were within walking distance, as well as a supermarket or small shops. The only thing that may not sit well with some who hate loud noises is that you can literally hear and see planes arriving in Lisbon all day long. However, this never bothered us and we were all able to sleep without any problem. We even had so much fun watching them passing by over the building. Overall, it was nice place to stay with your family.
