The hotel was very clean and the room was well outfitted. The front desk concierge where not as helpful or informative. It would be nice if they welcomed you on your entry to the hotel, or had a list of restaurant recommendations, or services offered. There is a lot of opportunity here. Coming from a service background, the concierge service needs to be elevated and looked at. The basic offerings of a concierge where not presented here aside from a decent check in. They also should make an effort to introduce themselves or ask if they can aid in reservations or tour activities.

Ok firstly I’d like to start by saying Lisbon is a must visit. And if I returned I would more than likely stay at Browns Avenue Hotel. The location is convenient and you are close but far enough away from the main area. The hotel is great, and the rooftop plunge pool area is worth every penny you pay. Having a glass of wine on the rooftop to cool down from a day of sightseeing whilst dipping your toes in the pool is the best thing about this hotel. Staff were great and answered all my queries and questions and were very nice. My room was fine. Beds are great, bathrooms fab. The USB ports on my husbands side of the bed did not work, but we had travel plugs so didn’t really bother us. More just takes the complete shine off. Although they advertise as a 5*, there are little things missing which would make the hotel perfection. No robes plus the slippers provided were disposable rubbish ones. A robe and slippers were needed walking to and from the rooftop. Also there are tea/coffee making facilities but no little edible treat….small things but they are claiming to be 5*. Also we most days would bring home a drink with us….its a nice touch having a mini Smeg fridge but you can’t fit anything of your own in it. The honesty bar on the rooftop was great. Lots of selection of drinks. Lovely to see everyone being so honest too - shows the level of clientele they have in the hotel! Overall the trip was a success and the hotel was great. Not quite perfection but great.

Awesome place to stay. Great location, close to nice places for food; great shopping area. True 5 star hotel. The only downside was the rooftop pool area. It’s deceivingly small and felt the pictures exaggerated it a bit.

The Hotel Staff was super helpful. Great location. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding. The hallway leading to the rooms was very dark. Construction out in front of the hotel made me score it 4 of 5.

Shame major works were going on right outside the hotel so there was some noise. In the rooms there is a Marshall music speaker - not sure it’s a great idea unless you have very considerate neighbours. We had to go down to reception twice after midnight as the music was so loud from the room next door we could tell what song they were playing in our room! Good location, pool a definite bonus and breakfast was good too. The honesty bar was a nice touch too.
