I can't imagine a better base from which to explore Portugal. This boutique property has it all - updated, clean, firiendly and helpful staff, in a prime location. In fact, our three Lisbon tours met either in the square directy in front of the property, or across the street! Also, the train station is just a $10 Uber ride away to get to Porto and other towns. There are numerous restaurants, sandwich shops, and shopping within walking distance of the hotel. We walked a bit further down the main Blvd on which the hotel is located to find the equivalent of the Champs-Élysées with all the high-end designer stores.

Our stay, though brief, was a great experience. The hotel is historic, but the room was bright, modern, and super clean. The staff was gracious and vey helpful. We chose to stay here because it was centrally situated and within walking distance to many attractions. I would love to return to Lisbon and will definitely return to Blue Liberdade if I do.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast very nice, and we appreciated that there was water in the rooms and complimentary drinks and pastries in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is modern and very clean. In a perfect part of the city for exploring the old town. Right next to a metro stop. The staff were wonderful. We paid for a car transfer from the airport and it was well worth the 45 euro. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The service was top notch! We enjoyed the coffee, water, and sparkling wine offerings in the lobby, and the welcoming bottles (mini) of port was a nice touch. The room was well appointed, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom modern with an excellent shower. Lots of outlets for charging electronics, etc. The size of the room was fairly small, but for a couple it was cozy. The location is excellent for seeing the sights. We love the little café next-door that serves the BEST Pastel da Nata. Great stay, highly recommend.

Having stayed at this hotel for a week we have nothing but high praise for the staff, cleanliness, attention to detail and amenities in the room. The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel housekeeping was exceptional. The free walking tour with Pedro was one of the holiday highlights. His passion and knowledge made for a very entertaining walk. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Lisbon with a Metro station right outside. Had a great meal in the restaurant one night. If we go back to Lisbon we shall definitely stay at the Blue Liberdade Hotel again.

This is a solidly very good property. Every where you turn, however, they were begging for you to give them a “10” rating. I found this presumptuous and suggests they have no idea of what constitutes a top notch hotel. Better that they ask guests to offer suggestions of how they can improve as they desire a top tier ranking. Great location for a good hotel.
