We loved this little hotel in the heart of historic Sintra! Just steps to all of the shipping and the lovely National Palace. Also right next to the bus stop for Pena Palace. I feel like we lucked out! It is charming. Highly recommend!

A wonderful oasis and a perfect shelter from the crowds in Sintra. A wonderful host, delightful rooms and a delicious breakfast spread. Perfect location for the village centre and easy to get an Uber or Tok Tok to Pena Palace. Restaurant opposite was an outstanding lunch choice

Good hotel, but hard to find.

Nice hotel in the middle of the attractions and cute shops in Sintra, but nevertheless quiet at night. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a nice touch of having refreshments available, especially the chocolate cake. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the standard Portuguese fare. BUT check-in was horrible due to lack of signage. Using street signs are already difficult in Portugal because they are hard to find and read. Although we had a map app telling us we were right on top of the hotel, we could not find it...because the hotel does not have legible signage visible from a reasonable distance. We were up and down the streets and stairs for ~20 minutes w/ our luggage, even asking nearby shop owners for directions (who could not provide any). My wife happened to walk up to what looked like a piece of paper on a door on a residence, which finally indicated the hotel's presence. My attached photo, taken from the walkway, should prove the inadequate/non existent commercial signage. So book the hotel for its convenience and quality, but when checking in, just look for a piece of paper on a door, which will indicate you have happened upon your accommodation.

Perfect base for absorbing Sintra

Really comfortable hotel with beautiful views from the balcony. Our room (think it was Orange Blossom) was beautifully decorated and well provisioned. The honesty bar was a nice touch and very useful as there weren't any late night convenience stores that we found.

This is a cute and convenient place to stay in Sintra. The staff was responsive and super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the yummy breakfast and taking a break to sit on the patio in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend.

Indira was the most wonderful host for us in this journey! Breakfast was always delicious. On our last day, she even accomodated her schedule to our early checked out and helped us carry our luggage to the taxi station. She made our stay enjoyable and very pleasant. The breakfast was great, the service was excellent, amazing area, lots of restaurants, museums, heritage sites, gardens, and stores close by. The rooms themselves are cozy and cute: showers, private toilette, sink, and she provided a charging converter. Cake, tea, and water readily available. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. 10/10 stay. No AC.
