The property has a lovely view and is in a great location. THe neighbours are quite noisy (especially the dog upstairs) but overall the flat is nice and has basic cooking equipment etc. We liked having the park nearby and lots of good restaurants/shops etc a short distance away. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Great location and nice apartment to stay in as a couple with everything you need. The hill is abit tough at times but uber is so cheap you won’t need to constantly climb up it. Near some great food and drink spots and not too far from public transport, shops and busy areas. Worth our stay

Great spot up on the hill with an amazing view

This was a great spot for us an it only to one trip up the hill to figure out how to use transit to get back! The location and view was great and as it was late October we did not miss the lack of air conditioning. The broken toilet seat was a literal pain in the butt and needs to be fixed!

Comfortable apartment

very nice apartment. There is no dryer as described, it’s a clothes line for drying. This was not a problem for us but be prepared. It was described as being on a hill. It’s a killer hill, be prepared. But we really enjoyed the apartment and having our own space.

Belle découverte de Lisbonne gra à un appartement très bien situé

Appartement impeccable pour un couple. Très bien équipé. Sa localisation centrale nous a permis de visiter les sites que nous avions listés. Prendre le tram n°28 est absolument génial. Toutefois soyez en forme car Lisbonne ça monte et sa descente mais ça monte.. Excellent séjour trop court.

Church bells and singing birds

We loved the view of the large park this place borders, making it so full is singing birds and lovely bells from the church. Across the way is the castle, great view! One set of stairs, kind of steep. This place is up the hill some, so be prepared to end your day going uphill…view is worth it though. Nice managing assistant helped me with something I lost.

Gorgeous view, spacious, serious climb!

The view of the Park (Jardim da Circa de Graca)from the balcony was perfect. It made the stay very enjoyable. The neighborhood and building were quiet in the evenings. Property was close to neighborhood restaurants and groceries as well as the new funicular that leads up to the rebuilt convent (Igreja da Graca) The property is on a very very steep incline and a potential renter should be sure that they are willing to tackle the climb each time they need to get to the apartment. A very steep climb. Rideshare services were easy to obtain and plentiful with very quick pickup times at this location. The bed was very comfortable but the rest of the seating surfaces were not comfortable. A futon and small arm chair in the room with the TV, and a very short (6inch tall) platform with pillows in the kitchen. The dining table was in the room with the TV, not in the kitchen and there were two stools with no backrest to sit at the table. All of the appliances functioned properly. Would we stay here again? Sure! The unit is comfortably large and functional but it could be better with just a few small changes.

Overall our stay at the property was positive. The building and adjacent property were under construction at the time which did impact the view. Check in was also 2 hours late.

Great Place

Although we had a few hiccups on arrival the lady at the management property was quick to reply to our texts. The apartment itself is lovely and in a great area. We really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony overlooking the park. The lady in the garden apartment below is very sweet and friendly. The area has great restaurants and supermarkets and it is easy to walk into the city centre. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and overall the apartment is spacious. Unfortunately there was some noise from the upstairs apartment but that is due to the thin floors rather than the neighbours being noisy but it served as our alarm in the mornings. The only negative is that there is no heating in the kitchen or bathroom which proved to be exceptionally cold at night and early morning until the sunshine heated up both rooms. I would stay again but perhaps during warmer months or the landlord could put in some form of heating. Also note that although advertised there is no dishwasher, not a problem for us but just worth pointing out. Overall a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay!!!!

What a wonderful stay. The apartment was great and the checkin and checkout was so easy. The neighborhood was so inviting. Food was great in all the little restaurants. Rail service was easy and fun. Looking for a place to relocate? This could be it. Would definitely return.

Excellent, apartment suited us very well- both location and layout .

The description of this apartment was accurate. We found the area more relaxing that being central although it took no effort to walk more or less everywhere we wanted to go. It was lovely overlooking the park - that was a real bonus. The park is very well used and has a lovely kiosk cafe. Locally there is a good selection of shops and restaurants. There are three Miradura with spectacular views over the city within very easy reach from the apartment - great at anytime of day. We found Lisbon a very friendly city and hope to return before too long as there is still so much more to explore than we managed in four and a half days.
