Nice Hotel , HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT

Pros: PRICE IS GREAT. CLEAN
Cons: I WOULD NOT GO THRO TRAVELOCITY. I PAID 10.00 MORE PER NIGHT. COLD HAVE BOOKED THRO HOTEL AND GOT IT CHEAPER
Location: LOVE LOCATION NEAR BASE AND SHOPPING

Pros: location to were my daughter lives
Location: my daughter has lived there for two years and there is nothing to do. there are no highways to points south. so other than fishing in the bay nothing
the reservation was for four people upon check-in was not asked as to how many of US showed there were only towels for two. The facility needs to improve their computer system to help keep track of number in reservation, how many showed and how many sets of linen there are in the room. I have never been an owner operator but this may be helpful to those who do ???????

Disgusting!!!

We switched rooms 3 times in the first night we found empty condoms, cups, and trash stuffed under the beds, the toilets and bathtubs were covered in grime. It was the most digusting hotel we had ever stayed at. Some of the doors do not lock and close properly. I can't believe this hotel is offered by travelocity.

good location

Pros: close to where my daughter lives
Cons: phone book in room not everybody has one of those smart phones
close to what we knew was there already if there is a chamber of commerce in the county or town it would be nice if they could get the businesses to help pay and distribute a guide to businesses in the area example restaurants gasoline pharmacies if needed

Previous life as a smokers haven still lingers

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: wi-fi only works if you are close to the lobby, noisy while the do construction
I stay here about 3-4 times a year. I never have any problem with the staff, they are always courteous and friendly. The Days Inn has been undergoing renovations for quite some time and I think they are focusing on the wrong things. First, it is nice you want to enlarge the rooms by combining two small rooms to make a large one but they faulter by assuming that no one will notice the dips in the flooring and carpet when you walk from one room to the other. The carpeting and drapes needs to be replaced because even though they probably washed them when they decided to offer non smoking rooms, you can smell that old burned out cigarette smell the minute you open the door. They walls need to be reprinted with Kilz or something anti microbial to get that scent out completely. Their bedding is old and scratchy too so I usually bring my own sheets but this isn't an option if you are trying to pack light. Their televisions are old and they may offer free wi-fi but if you are more then 100 feet from the lobby you will not get a signal. Like I said, I've stayed here a lot and I have slept in a lot of the rooms. The staff is accommodating if you want a larger bed, wake up calls, fresh towels etc. This is a 2 star joint close to Pax and you would think they would push their renovation dollar just a little bit more when it comes to room comfort. Oh and if you need to use a hair dryer bring your own because the hair dryers they have are from when the rooms were smoking and when you dry your hair you will smell like cigarettes.

I made a mistake picking this motel.

Pros: Free Internet
This place is in bad shape, it needs cleaned and updated, actually gutted. The only chair in the room had what appeared to be a large urine stain on the seat, didn't touch it to see if it was still wet. No place to put suitcases, no place to plug in anything, it just was not user-friendly. The bathroom was large and pretty clean.

Great

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, very large rooms, great staff
The hotel was a great value for the money.The rooms were huge; a sitting room, a bed area and 2 bathrooms. This hotel is close to the Navel base and many retaurants. The staff was great.

very scary

What goes bump in the night? Everything at this place, including the odd people hanging around outside all of the time. Wouldn't want to bring children here.

Bad move

Good news: the beds are great. Bad news: all the rest of it. There are no indoor corridors, so you'll get soaked going from your room to the lobby and dining room if it's raining. Our shower had no hot water. The "free" breakfast was awful. The TV set was about 30 years old.
