Check in was fine. Booked online and they had all the paperwork ready to go when we got there. Check in clerk was friendly. Room was ok. It was large everywhere except the bathroom which is really cramped. They should redo and take space from lounge area and add to bathroom. Knees almost hit door when on toilet. Gave airplane bathroom vibes. Bathroom was very clean though. The decor in this room was really ugly. Not sure if all like this or if throughout whole chain but really ugly color scheme and furniture in lounge area. Bed was comfortable. Pillows weird. Small and perfectly square. Comfortable though. Need bigger pillows. Overall clean place to stay with friendly check in clerk.

Overall our stay was good. Friendly staff, good breakfast and kids loved the pool/hot tub. The only improvements I could recommend are new mattresses, as ours were hard and the carpets could be shampooed. My 1 year old son crawls everywhere and his legs were very dirty after about 10 minutes of crawling in our room. I believe this could be due to years of people staying and walking on the carpets and it only getting vacuumed. Besides that everything was very clean and I did witness cleaning staff vacuuming/cleaning other rooms. It was also nice that it was within 2 miles of Walmart and a ton of food options.

On the positive: The staff was excellent, both the morning and the afternoon desk staff. Mike was very helpful on restaurants, one was within walking distance. The room was clean and we liked that the cleaner leaves her card with her signature upon it, so you know who's cleaning the room. The cleaning staff is taking ownership for their individual rooms they clean and it shows. In addition, the lobby itself looks lovely with the fire place. lobby seating area and dining room. Also loved the fresh baked assortment of cookies and 24/7 hot coffee located at the front desk. Nice touch! On the downside, As you enter the property, the outside front entry patio areas are really dirty, they have leaves and dirt upon them. The patio furniture needs washing and the sidewalks, as well as the patio cement, needs to be high power washed and scrubbed. The front entrance and into the lobby also needs to be cleaned, including the entrance rug which is stained. In addition, the rooms are very dated. At one time I'm sure the bathroom granite countertops we're lovely and upscale, that time was possibly 28 years ago and if not, it looked it. Yellowing old light switches, molding that needed to be painted, it all felt a little creepy. Oppressive brown old dingy hallways. I don't think we'll be back for another stay unless they update this hotel with some freshness.
