4/10 Poor

We stayed for 8 nights in a room booked for two people. While we didn’t expect a large space, the lack of storage was genuinely frustrating. The room offered only about 30cm of hanging space—enough for perhaps five tops—and two very small desk drawers, barely fitting a few items.
When we raised our concerns with reception, we were told the rooms are intended for short stays of no more than two nights, and that had we called the hotel directly, we would have been informed of this. The response felt dismissive, lacking any empathy or willingness to help. We felt overlooked rather than supported.
What made this more surprising was that we booked through Expedia, which listed a two-night minimum stay for this room. Nowhere was it made clear that the room was unsuitable for longer visits. As a result, we lived out of our suitcases for eight days, struggling to stay organised and constantly wearing creased clothes.
The hotel also appeared to be understaffed, and unfortunately, it shows. The team seemed unhappy and stretched thin, which impacted service throughout our stay. We dined in the restaurant twice—on one occasion, we waited 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order, and then another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive.
Prices were also surprisingly high: nearly £13 for a fresh orange juice and £16 for a beer. While we understand that hotel prices are often elevated, the quality of service didn’t match the cost.
Overall, we left feeling disappointed.
