People partying in the hallway for hours at 2AM. Yelling and screaming, hitting doors, slamming doors, cursing. I called front desk and they said they’d take care of it but never did. Horrible experience

Someone came into my room in the middle of the night with keys where they had rebooked my room. That is a good way for someone to get seriously hurt and your staff just said oh it was just a computer problem.

Floors were dirty and old, need replacing. Bathroom floor was dirty and in disrepair. Large 1 inch gap under main door to hallway. Paint peeling off many doors and walls down hallway. Pool was green with algae and unusable. Exterior doors to parking lot did not close and lock. Overall…yuck! I tried to get help from Hotels.com but no luck. Only an AI reply recommending 3 local hotels, including the one I was complaining about. So frustrating!!

Rooms were fine, facilities were fine, nothing to write home about. Luckily it was only a 1 night stay. Toilet clogged, called to get it fixed but no one picked up. A few outlets in the room and if there was one it was being used. Really bad lighting in the rooms.

Although the facility and the room definitely need a much needed facility update. The worst part was the noise from the banquet. Kids were running around until almost midnight. We only stayed one night and needed to leave the hotel before 7:30am for a competition. So if you do decide to stay in this hotel probably ask to be away from the banquet hall.

I liked this hotel and would stay again. As a single woman I felt safe and at ease. There is a coffee pot, microwave and small fridge in the room. The ac works well. The restaurant was clean and the bar keep friendly. I had the best cheeseburger I’ve had in a while. The room was very clean and the breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagel, danish, coffee, waffles and multiple juices. The coffee was good, but no non-milk creamer options. The hotel is badly in need of a makeover to fit its excellent service and staff.

Staff was good, the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The property is poorly kept and the rooms are poorly lit. Half the lightbulbs were not working. There was a lot of noise (water moving through pipes and lights flickering). The TV screen was damaged, so there were lines flickering on the screen.

I had admired the original property for over 40 years. When larion took over the former plantation, it just did so much to accent what was already a historical site.

Nestled between a highway and enclosed by a fence, It is completely isolated from any modality of travel other than a car (so Uber is the only option). The property is not well-maintained (I'd give it a 2/5), the room has had some very shoddy renovation (the bath tub finish had a chip and the drain was not screwed down) and the housekeeping stole property from the room. Front desk was unhelpful in recovering the stolen property.
