Book a hotel near Lee Richardson Zoo, Garden City

"The pool was drained. That was not mentioned in the website. There was maintenance work going on. Not mentioned either. Lots of noise from power tools. Water was shut off in our room, without prior notice. Front desk person was the only one who acknowledged our presence. The kitchen person was sitting on her phone all morning. Maintenance crew blocking the walkway. Elevators not swept. "

"This motel needs updating but more importantly the grounds were not kept clean, no poop bags at the stations, and staff was not very friendly. The smell was bad in the room though it was coming from outside."

"The pool was shut down. The elevator was broke, and the staff was lazy. The hotel breakfast was supposed to be open until 10. The stop refilling food at 9:40 by policy but wouldn’t refill at 9:35. The breakfast area was a wreck and the lady that was supposed to clean was on drugs. This isn’t your usual Hampton, beware."

"It's clean, it looks safe, the crew were nice. But the pool and elevator isn't functional when we got there that's the downside. Other than that, we had a restful stay. "
