One of five characterful cottages converted from 18th century farm buildings, in a peaceful courtyard setting. Tastefully furnished rooms blend traditional and modern. Light and airy in the summer, and cosy in cooler weather, Long Barn is a great base for exploring the area.

Long Barn has a private (not fully enclosed) garden at the back, with a picnic table. From your own private front patio you can step out into the pretty cottage garden (shared with other guests) and, in warmer weather, relax in hammock chairs or the outdoor seating. On summer evenings, take in the scent of lavender, jasmine and honeysuckle or light the firepit and, on a clear night, enjoy the starry skies.

Paul and Angela were the most wonderful hosts. Long Barn was the perfect home away from home for us to stay in along with other members of our family. The kitchen was fully equipped and the amount of outdoor space enabled us to entertain a family dinner. The sleeping accommodation was very comfortable and with plenty of storage and closet space for us all. The mornings were lovely and quiet allowing for enjoying a coffee outside in the garden. The whole aesthetics inside and out were exceptional and we all agreed that we will be returning to explore everything that the area has to offer and enjoy the perfect accommodation of Long Barn.
