I chose this motel for its convenient location to Dartmouth, as we were dropping our daughter off at school.  Bad choice!  STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL! The motel is in terrible shape.  No housekeeping, towels were thinnest possible.  There was a monster pothole in the driveway.  Plumbing and painting done by a toddler.  Broken windows and security locks.   Try harder, Choice Hotels! Our room's bathroom fan screamed like a banshee.  We asked for someone to fix it on the first of three nights.  The desk staff said she would have someone look at it in the morning.  No one came.  She moved us to another room the next day.  That room had no fan so...it was quiet!   But the security lock was broken.  We needed to get to Boston for an early flight so we checked out at 4:15 am.  I had to call out from the halIway into the office because no one was at the desk.  Apparently I surprised them because some man came out without a shirt on.  The desk person on duty appeared with a scowl on his unmasked face.  My husband was loading our luggage in the car and was coughing outside. The desk staff said "your husband vomited out there and the manager will charge you to clean it up".   I went outside to check if my husband was ok and asked him if he vomited.  He said no.  I marched back in, told him there had better be no extra charges.  He just shrugged--No apology.  I told him this was the worst motel we have ever stayed in.  He said "thank you!"  I swore at him.  He swore back. Lovely.
