This beautiful and historical castle is located on the edge of the village of le Veurdre. A route to Santiago de Compostella runs through the village. The complex is located in a place that gives you absolute peace and a magnificent rural view. The castle - built around 1400 - has an exciting history and is said to have been a camp of Jeanne d ""Arc. The first king of France also stayed there for a week. The house is spacious and attractive. You enter the hall, a large and a small lounge, a large dining room, kitchen and utility room. This castle is ideal for a large family. There are some great hiking and biking trails near the castle. Route Saint Jacques de Compostelle is 500 m away. The city of Nevers is 34 km away. Saint Etienne de Bourges Cathedral is 65 km away. In the summer it is wonderful to relax on the two large terraces. In winter you can enjoy the roaring fires in the large fireplaces. The cosy furnishings with many antique elements guarantee an unforgettable stay.

Vaak zijn de foto’s veel beter dan de werkelijkheid. Hier niet! Super mooi kasteeltje met heel veel ruimte en privacy. Lekker zwembad en je waant je in een ‘live brocante winkel’. Bedden zijn van normaal (Nederlands) formaat. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Ook in de keuken. We hadden er zo nog een week aan vast willen plakken.

Een geweldige locatie, in een mooie rustige omgeving. Echt een kasteeltje hoe een kasteeltje hoort te zijn, oud met prachtige details, zowel binnen als buiten. Maar, voor sommige kan het wel eens te vol zijn, met allerlei brocante dingetjes. Ons heeft het niet gestoord, en vonden het vooral hilarisch. Er is in ieder geval genoeg te zien ;-) Hoe dan ook een heerlijke plek, met eveneens heerlijk zwembad (zout water, wat super is) met veel authenticiteit.

Geweldige plek. Groot huis met 4 goede ruime slaapkamers. Beneden een ruime eetkeuken, eetkamer en 2 woonkamers/salons. Buiten een ruim terras met 100% privacy met prachtig uitzicht. Het zwembad is geweldig en ook zeer mooi aangelegd en onderhouden Wij verbleven met 2 gezinnen (4 volwassenen en 5 kinderen) en hebben een geweldige verblijf gehad. De eigenaren waren altijd bereikbaar, maar gunde ook alle privacy. We komen zeker terug, absolute aanrader.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Das Haus ist ein echtes Schloss mit viel Land drumherum. Wir haben die ländliche Atmosphäre im Garten sehr genossen. Auch den Pool haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr authentisch, das Wohnzimmer mit dem großen Kamin ist sehr gemütlich. Die ruhige Gegend hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir hoffen, wieder hierher zu kommen.

Zunächst einmal herzlich willkommen, wurde das Haus gut beheizt , wie nach unserer Anfrage, einwandfreie Sauberkeit erwartet. Benötigtes alles „und noch mehr, um nicht zu verpassen etwas während des Aufenthaltes waren wir auf den Pool genießen nicht in der Lage wegen Winterwetter, aber seine Lage in der Sonne muss sehr angenehm sein .. kurzum 350m2 für 9 Personen in einem Hause und eine sehr angenehme Umgebung und voller Überraschungen .......... „für die Dekoration“ wir werden Komm so schnell wie möglich zurück Voisin Familie
