We are offering this charming duplex for rent in the village of Le Palais on Belle-Île-en-Mer, less than a kilometre from the beach. It has a floor area of 47 m² and can accommodate up to 3 guests. Situated on the 2nd floor (no lift), it comprises a lovely 20 m² living room, a fully fitted kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!

The accommodation is laid out as follows:

On the ground floor:
- A 20 m² living room with a flat-screen TV, sofa (fixed, not a sofa bed), coffee table and dining area.
- A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine...
- A bathroom with a bath and toilet.

Upstairs:
- A mezzanine with a double bed (140×190)
- A small bedroom with a single bed.

The flat is ideally situated in Le Palais, in a very pleasant setting right in the heart of the town, 200 m from the jetty. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…

If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the house. You can travel to Belle-Île-en-Mer with your own car by booking through certain ferry companies.

- Bus: you can explore the island by booking seats on a sightseeing bus during the summer.
- Nearest ferry terminal: Port du Palais, 200 m away; ferries depart from the terminals at Vannes, Quiberon, Locmariaquer, Port-Navalo and Le Croisic.
- Nearest airport: Lorient Airport.
- Car hire: you can hire a car directly in Le Palais (in summer, it is best to book in advance).

Par contre j'ai du faire du ménage en arrivant car le logement n'était pas propre : plan de travail de la cuisine, frigo pris en glace, bouilloire entartrée, tiroirs sales, miettes, poussière, etc, etc ... Je l'ai signalé à l'agence ""book and pay"" qui n'a rien géré et m'a demandé d'entrer en contact avec une conciergerie. ""book and pay"" porte très bien son nom, car une fois réservé et payé, ils ne s'occupent plus de rien !! Très décevant, d'autant plus qu'il y a déjà des remarques sur le ménage dans les commentaires précédents. De plus, nous ne disposions que d'un 1/2 rouleau de papier toilette pour 2 personnes et 3 jours... très léger !! Evidemment, j'ai payé la totalité de la prestation ménage, aucun geste de l'agence. Je ne recommande vraiment pas cette agence !"

Le p'tit Palais Petit appartement cocooning, dans la toiture, et plein de charme ! Bel agencement de la petite superficie. Attention à vos têtes surtout pour ceux qui sont grands :-) Un fascicule avec quelques explications pratiques (fonctionnement de certains appareils, gestion des poubelles, ...) et avec des infos sur les environs serait un plus. Comme annoncé dans les commentaires, il y avait toujours un nid de goélands près du Velux et les voisins sont parfois un peu bruyants. Bref, un très bon séjour à Le Palais avec toutes les facilités à proximité!

La deuxième chambre (lit simple) n’est pas très pratique vraiment sous la pente du toit, difficile d’y circuler d’autant que ce lit n’était pas fait (draps disponibles) mais dépanne. Pied à terre super bien situé pour louer des vélos électriques, rayonner dans l’île et profiter des soirées à Palais."

Hélas peu insonorisé, il faut prévoir les combats de goélands à l’aube au dessus de la mansarde. Le ménage est fait en surface, mais il reste des taches sous les dessous de tables et des poussières dans les recoins. Le lavabo n’étais pas fait. Appartement géré par une conciergerie. C’est clair et précis mais ça manque d’un contact humain."

Le p'tit Palais Le logement est bien situé et facile d'accès. Il permet de faire un bon nombre de choses à pied et cela est tres appréciable. L'espace nuit est correct mais attention aux personnes de grande taille. Petit bémol sur les équipements internet et TV. La TV passant par molotov TV ne donne pas accès à l'ensemble des chaînes TNT. Elles sont pour moitiée payantes et le débit étant reduit les chaines disponibles sont difficilement accessibles. Merci à l'agence d'avoir essayé de trouver une solution en nous apportant un câble pour passer par l'antenne classique mais cela ne fonctionne pas non plus dommage.

Le p'tit Palais "Logement bien équipé, très bien placé. Sur 4 nuits passées , 3 nuits réveillées par le voisin atrocement bruyant . La première une soirée alcoolisée jusqu’a 6 h du matin, musique à fond digne d’une boite de nuit ! La seconde par des ébats ! La 3 ème par un démontage d’armoire a 1 h20 du matin ! La propriétaire s’est dite non responsable de l’immeuble, elle en est néanmoins copropriétaire. Aucun Appel de sa part , aucune empathie , aucun geste. Nous garderons la beauté de l île à l esprit pas les nuits passées."
