We booked a last minute trip the day before arrival, the house was absolutely amazing! Had everything you needed. The beds were so comfy, all the family games they had for you at the house was my favorite part. Hot tub, new game room, so much space to still have quiet time while others enjoy doing things. My teenagers said this was the best vacation. We will definitely be back! The host was amazing at communicating & making sure we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside retreat! The home is big with plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The home owner was very responsive, when we had a question and the home is well appointed with everything you need for cooking meals in. We would book this property again.

Perfect location and setting for a family gathering and weekend of relaxation. There was six of us along with our dogs and there was plenty of space to move around. This place had so many things to do to keep everyone occupied (pool table, hot tub, fire pit, etc.). The kitchen was open and spacious and they had a dining room table that goes on for miles. We loved that this place was minutes from Rock House and Conkles Hollow hiking areas. We appreciated all the amenities and communication with the host was easy.

Beautiful property, close to everything, will stay again

Stay was amazing. Hidden gem is exactly what we were looking for, with games, movies, hot tubbing and a great kitchen for cooking, it was hard to pull ourselves away to go to Jack Pine and Rock House, even just a few minutes away. Very cozy, with a sign saying the hosts were adding on to the game room. Can't wait to see it next time we stay here. Couldn't be happier.

A family place for all ages

Finally, a place that is the perfect size for our whole family and close to all the trail heads. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own corner and yet the spaces were big enough everyone could fit in one room. I thought it would be a hassle to get to town but the Logan Walmart was only like 15 minutes away when we needed it.

Great stay

Justin and Kristin were great hosts - we had everything we needed. We setup camp and everyone had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beds were super comfortable, not sure what mattresses they were but we slept great. There was so much space to kick back, relax and entertain. We cooked everyone a huge meal in the big kitchen and all ate together. Already planning the next trip.

This stay was amazing, the owners maintain it and you can really tell they care about making it a comfortable stay. Additionally they care about their guests, when I arrived there was a sentimental welcome letter for my group. If I had any questions, Justin replied within minutes. It was clean, stocked full of supplies to use to include cleaning supplies, towels, kitchen pots/pans/silverware.Very spacious, plenty of beds and couches so bringing a big family or group of friends is possible.Overall I do not think me nor my friends could find something to complain about even if we attempted to.

Great Get Away Spots

We had an amazing stay at this property! There was plenty of space for our whole group, making it easy for family and friends to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Whether it was movie time, playing games, or challenging each other at the pool table, everyone found something fun to do together. Our dog absolutely loved hiking the nearby trails with us, and the location made it easy to explore the beautiful outdoors. After long days of riding the scenic roads on motorcycles or hiking, the hot tub set at a perfect 80 degrees was just what we needed to unwind and soak in the views. It was also great that it was set to a timer to turn on the heat for a relaxing late-night dip before heading to bed. This place truly had something for everyone, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here with a group of 10 for a weekend of hiking in Hocking Hills and it worked out great.Justin was a great host. He was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond whenever we had questions. The house sits in a beautiful spot up on a hill, which made it a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect. Rock House is right around the corner, and several other trails are just a short drive away, so it was really easy to get out and explore each day. We also visited Jack Pine Studio across the street and watched them create a blown glass pumpkin, which was a really cool experience. Groceries were close by as well, so everything was very convenient. The house worked really well for our group. There is plenty of space to spread out if you want some downtime, along with great areas where everyone can hang out together. The dining table was a highlight since all of us could sit and eat together, and we ended up having all of our meals at the house.Everything was clean and well maintained, and having 4.5 bathrooms made a big difference for a group our size. There was always one available when you needed it.We didn’t get to the fire pit or game room this time, but they’re on the list for our next visit!

The house was everything we thought it would be, Justin was a very gracious host he always answered my questions and took care of my concerns during our stay…If I were to make a suggestion I would recommend getting an electric griddle for breakfast for making pancakes and cooking bacon, also some dish towels. Sky, his house manager was always there at the house quickly and took care of us, she was very curteous and fixed whatever problems we had. Would definitely think about coming back in the future!!

We can’t say enough about this vacation home near Hocking Hills Ohio. It was a fairly short drive to all of the caves and waterfalls and the Stone House was only a couple of miles away, located in Hocking Hills. The house was clean, well stocked with all the essentials, plenty of dishes, bowls, silverware and utensils, even a supply of microwave popcorn for us to use. We only needed to bring the food, coffee and drinks for the gang. Used the gas grill every day and it worked well. Many of our family used the hot tub every day and that was clean and worked well, also. Loved the long dining room table, and it was great to have the pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, along with tons of other games to use. The kids used it all and liked it a lot. Dishwasher was a blessing when you’re feeding 10 folks, lots of dirty dishes. Two washers and dryers, but barely used them during our long weekend stay. The “guest mode” on the TVs worked well to allow us to use our own YouTube TV, which is what we use at home. If you want to explore what Hocking Hills has to offer, we would highly recommend this vacation home. We would also recommend that it seemed a lot easier for us to cook all of the dinners at the house and enjoy everything it has to offer, rather than go drive to dinner in Logan…
