Located in the peaceful Riverside suburb, you'll also enjoy easy access to local shops, recreational spaces, and some of Launceston's best attractions.



The Space



Upon arrival, enjoy the convenience of off-street parking. The driveway is shared with the apartment below, with ample space available for guests. If you require additional parking, plenty of free street parking is also available nearby.



Make your way to the front door and step inside. The home is arranged across two half-levels, with just a few steps connecting each space.



The upper level features three comfortable bedrooms. Two bedrooms offer cosy queen beds, while the third includes two single beds, making the home well suited to families or groups. Each bedroom provides ample storage and fresh, crisp bedding for a restful night's sleep.



You'll also find a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. Nearby, the fully equipped laundry includes a washing machine, dryer, and essential laundry supplies. A separate toilet provides additional convenience.



Head downstairs to the main living area, where you can relax on the comfortable seating, enjoy your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or make use of the handy study desk. Share meals and quality time together around the six-seater dining table, or prepare your favourite dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances, cookware, and everyday essentials.

Guests have exclusive access to their self-contained apartment throughout their stay. Entry is available anytime via a secure coded door lock, providing a convenient and flexible self-check-in experience.



The Neighbourhood



Riverside is a peaceful and well-connected suburb nestled on the hillside west of Launceston. The area offers a range of everyday conveniences, including a large shopping complex with a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and other local stores.



Nearby, you'll find the Tailrace Centre, Kids Paradise, and recreational spaces along the beautiful Tamar River. Riverside is also perfectly positioned as a gateway to the Tamar Valley wine region, where you can explore local wineries and enjoy popular dining destinations.



Nature lovers will appreciate the many scenic walking tracks nearby, including the Tamar Island Wetlands, Notley Fern Gorge, and Tailrace Park. These areas offer peaceful riverside scenery, native wildlife, lush vegetation, and beautiful natural landscapes.



The Tasmanian Zoo is also nearby and offers a fun outing for families and animal lovers.



Launceston's city centre is approximately a 10-minute drive away and offers a great selection of shops, cafés, restaurants, and bars. Be sure to visit City Park, known for its beautiful gardens, conservatory, playground, and Japanese macaques.



No visit to Launceston is complete without exploring Cataract Gorge. This spectacular natural attraction offers scenic walking trails, swimming areas, wildlife, and breathtaking views. You can also experience the area from the water on a Tamar River cruise.



Getting Around



To make the most of your stay and explore Launceston and its beautiful surrounds, having a car is recommended. However, several alternative transport options are also available.



Metro Bus Service: Metro Tasmania provides regular services throughout Launceston and the surrounding suburbs. Check their website for current routes, timetables, and fares.



Free Tiger Bus: Explore Launceston's city centre on the Free Tiger Bus, which travels around key locations in the CBD.



Intercity Bus Services: Several services connect Launceston with other destinations across Tasmania, including Hobart, Devonport, Burnie, and Wynyard.



Electric Scooters: Beam electric scooters can be found throughout Launceston. Simply download the Beam app to locate and unlock a scooter. Helmets are provided—please ride safely and follow local road rules.



Bike Rental: Local bike hire is available for those wishing to explore the city and surrounding cycling trails.



Uber & Taxis: Uber and local taxi services provide convenient options for getting around without a car.



Airport Transfers: Airport shuttle and transfer services are available between Launceston Airport and the city. We recommend checking current schedules and availability before your trip.

Your accommodation is located above a separate apartment. The driveway is shared with guests staying in the apartment below; however, your apartment is completely private and exclusively yours to enjoy.



For security purposes, exterior cameras are installed around the outside of the property. These cameras monitor external areas only, and any footage is kept private and recorded for security purposes.
