Don Cesar was beautiful as always. We stay here often. But I have noticed in this visit and the last few that customer service is declining. For example for this trip, no one felt warm or welcoming, I understand they were very busy but when you’re paying $600-700 a nice 5 star hotel; the service should be exceptional. Checking in, the young lady felt so rushed, didn’t greet us welcomingly, didn’t smile, didn’t look up from her computer. At this price point you have to be able to be busy and still provide exceptional service. We’ll be back because we love it here but I really hope the service doesn’t continue to slip because at some point it cheapens the brand and experience and isn’t worth it.

Nice room overlooking the parking lot. Outside , the view is as always spectacular. 30 degrees outside very cold one night no heat but maintenance came and fixed it immediately. Shower low pressure. Room very clean internet was good, had good food and drinks, no cash accepted anywhere but staff was friendly and helpful wherever we were in the property. Loved every minute.

LOVED this hotel. The art deco pink historic vibe is awesome as is the pool, the beach, the unique coffee shop (yay no starbucks) and, restaurants are good albeit a bit pricey. The rooms are a tad small, but the bldg is old, so there is that consideration --- but overall, we LOVED our time spent here and if I was to go back to St. Pete I would stay here in a second.

Beautiful hotel. Staff is excellent. However, room was very warm - poor air conditioning. Poor water pressure. Bar menus are limited. Other than that it is a very nice place to stay.
