Traveled with family and small children
Apr 10, 2025
This is without doubt a spectacular setting! We really enjoyed our stay.
As others have said the decor is tired and I would add that the family chalet is still
Not particularly roomy.
The staff around the hotel are warm and friendly but there is not the ratio of staff to guests you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
The food was average throughout, we didn’t leave hungry but nothing was wow or even very good.
In reality I think the resort is a very good 3.5 star hotel in a 5 star location.
The wildlife was our priority and this did not disappoint, the nature walk with arm was brilliant he was really informative.
Having said all the above, we loved our stay and feel that the price reflects the quality as the berjaya is significantly cheaper than both the westin and four seasons on the island.
We would recommend to friends!
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, just don’t go with illusions of 5 star service or amenities.
