I liked the fact they are aware of the pandemic. Their rooms appeared cleaned and fresh. Information was provided prior to visit.

Ok stay

Everything was fine, except when I checked in the previous house cleaning didn't change the linens and one of the bed had a small 4 inch urine stain. I went into the hallway seen house keeping an asked her to change both beds with fresh lines and turn downs. She did it right away. Other than that everything was nice. Except the pool was broken and empty.

Kids had a blast hanging out at the pool . Beutiful property . Great staff . We will be back this summer.

Accommodating Hidden Jewel for golfers... and competing gymnasts

We are avid golfers who loved the scenic and walkable Robert Trent Jones Trail Grand National championship courses on site. On a 17 day golf tour from Alberta, Canada, from the various hotel searches we conducted, we knew that the Marriott was out of our price range, however, here is the story that is worth telling. After arriving in Auburn, Opelika, we stopped by to see the picturesque Marriott. We arrived in January during cool weather and (naturally) a slow time for the hotel catering to golf. We asked their rates, then informed them that we were staying two nights to play golf and if they wanted our business we would pay them their best rate - $45 (the price we were going to pay 15 min away at a much lesser hotel away from the course). To my surprise, the front desk ageed. Nice restaurant, great gym that I was lucky to share with 30 young Oklahoma gymnasts
