The bathroom need more ventilation due to steam from the shower. The paint on the ceiling was coming off. The water temperature of shower was extreme with no moderation temperature.

Pleasant surprise with the Godley

The Godley Hotel is perfectly located in Tekapo!! NOTE: There is no elevator, so be prepared to lug suitcases upstairs!! The Jack Rabbit restaurant that is attached is perfect for breakfast. We went to T.L.V. for dinner, which was a nice upscale restaurant in the area and the dishes were excellent. Definitely plan on taking the time to walk around the lake to see the church and the cute shops.

Clean room, available early, friendly staff, convenient because walkable distance to everything Would be nice to have some options for drinks and snacks in the lounge after the café closes. Way better when the fire is on !
