If i could give them a negative score i would . this place is a dump! the floors are very dirty. while they clean the floor they cant be cleaning the mop.(see pics). multiple rooms are like this. the microwave buttons dont work, the AC doesnt work well, the water never gets warmer than warm, they only give you 3 cups for your entire stay. one day i returned after they moped the floor and the floor was so slick i did a yard sail - lunch went flying in one direction, my cell in another and everything else in another. i have a pretty bad bruise that i need to go see a dr for tomorrow. we stayed there because people said it was pretty good. believe me - its not worth it. oh - the entertainment was scary - a couple was shouting outside for about 3 hours. was waiting for the police to come any minute. RENOVATIONS started in Feb 2025. still nowhere near done. Pool doesnt look like it will open this year and there is no jacuzzi or hot tub.

Good value. I had room 5, that had a renovated bathroom. The style in the bathroom was really beutiful and well above average on a place like this. Unfortunately the water pressure was really low in the shower. Also the bedroom was fixed up. A short walk to the dining at main street.

Can’t beat the price-the room is clean and the bathroom is updated, and we got two queen beds, not just full size beds. If I didn’t find a few really long hairs in the shower, and that it was not very easy to have the digital door lock to work, I would have given this Inn five stars for what I paid for.

Great for what it is

It was clean. It had beds. It was warm. the bathroom was excellent. If you want anything else, and I mean anything, you're outta luck. The walls were as thin as cardboard. The television would not work, even when casting from my own paid services on my own devices. It doesn't matter. it served the purpose and was not at all gross.

First booked for one price, then facility rebooked for a higher price on its own, did not give a code for the second booking, phone calls, emails and texts went unanswered, when we arrived, the code given for the first booking did not work, could not get into the room. After calling booking agent, finally got a call back from the manager Carlos, he was rude and disrespectful and gave a wrong code again, finally got into the room by transposing the numbers of the code given. Room was clean but would never return given the rudeness and disrespect of the customer service, and the fact of facility rebooking at a higher price point than originally paid.

A Decent Value Option in Lake Placid

This is a basic, value-priced motel. It kind of seems like it was just renovated and renovated in a hurry. Some things are freshly painted, like doors (and doorknobs!) and some things aren't (rusty heaters). Additionally, it seems like they furnished the rooms without much thought--for example, the microwave on top of the fridge doesn't have a long enough plug, and there's no electical strip extension, so you have to put it on the floor in order to operate it. Hopefully they'll get these kinks worked out. Regardless of these slightly amusing deficiencies,it's a good value and the staff (Carlos) is friendly and helpful.
