The driveway wasn't sanded or salted and was glare ice. Which was a fall risk. There is not adequate cookware. There wasn't a broiling pan, a coffee scoop, serving spoons, and only 4 tablespoons. There was no foil for cooking, no plastic wrap for storage and no storage containers for left overs. I went to a local store to buy missing kitchenware. We booked this site for access to a grill and stovetop/oven. The grill was not adequately taken car of, there was a mouse nest on the grate. I informed the owner via email and the next day the caretake removed the nest but the grate was not replaced, it was not adequately cleaned or sanitized. Mouse excrement is toxic and lethal carrying hantavirus, leptospirosis, and Salmonella diseases. I really don't want anyone to get violently sick while out of state on vacation.There were no sheets for the futons, which was not disclosed or I would have brought sleeping bags. There is a thick layer of dust on decorations and fixtures despite a 175 cleaning fee. The faucet didn't work well, the button on the nozzle got stuck with the water off and we had to take the head of the faucet off to reset it multiple times. When the water came back on the pressure was so high it would spray your shirt. I really don't feel like I should have to contact an owner while at the site to have these issues addressed. If I pay in advance for a 4 night stay, the site should be as advertised to house the number of people it says. 2 hours ago
