Book a hotel near Lake Mohegan, Fairfield

"The hotel is very clean, in fact to the extreme. All I could smell were strong cleaning chemicals in the lobby and in the room. It caused an asthmatic reaction in me and headaches in my companion. I covered the pillows with my own pillow cases that I always bring, but the smell all over was unbearable to my lungs. Chemicals used in the cleaning/laundry are very harsh. I could not stay here again. The Roku also wasn’t working correctly, but that wasn’t worth contacting the front desk. Breakfast in the lobby was a bonus. I did also really appreciate the code instead of a key for the entry into the room. The chemical smell was my only issue. Otherwise nice place."

"The property worked well for one night. However, there were limited electrical outlets in the house. One bedroom only had one plug. If we were staying longer it would have been more of an issue, but for one night we made it work."
