Housekeeping is a very good service, or not so good, soley dependendent on the actual person. One housekeeper was fantastic while another was poor. The hotel overall is a top performer for the area. Reception staff again is dependent on the person.

Extremely Disappointed – Not the Hampton Quality I Expected We just stayed 7 nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Mary At Colonial Townpark and were very unhappy with the experience. Not once during our entire stay did anyone come to clean our room. We had to constantly go down to the front desk to ask for basic things like toilet paper and clean towels, which is ridiculous for a week-long stay. On the second day, we brought it to their attention and were told that we were supposed to let them know if we wanted housekeeping every day, otherwise they only clean every other day. Fine. We specifically told them we wanted daily cleaning after that conversation – and still, no one ever came. At some point we were told they were having staffing issues, so we just gave up and tried to make the most of it, but that’s not really an excuse for this level of service. The problems didn’t stop there. The breakfast area in the mornings was a mess – dirty tables, trash overflowing, and food items not being refilled in a timely manner. On top of all that, check-in was a disaster. I stood in line for about an hour and a half before anyone checked us in. For a branded hotel, that’s unacceptable. I’ve always thought of Hampton as a reliable, solid brand, which is why this stay was so shocking. This location did not live up to that reputation at all, and I would seriously think twice before staying here again.

First room was the double queen we booked. We walked into the room to find the tub full of dirty water and clogged up drain. We were given another room, but was a king bed, and we slept uncomfortably. To make matters worse, we walk in the bathroom to find the floor completely wet from a leaky shower head! I expected a certain standard from a Hampton Inn, but this was a great disapointment
