The Loft is charming and has a lovely porch overlooking the 11th fairway at The Country Club at Lake City; for more info about the course see www.Countryclubatlakecity.com. Golfers, I hear we have a challenging course. Ichetucknee State Park is only 23 mi. away with scenic views as you float down the river and fresh springs to experience. For the adventurous and licensed, cave diving is available at the Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park 386-776-2194 and Ginnie Springs, and of coarse canoers and kayakers are a regular in this area at the Adventure Outpost or the Sante Fe Canoe Outpost. Folks, this area is filled with clear, refreshing springs to enjoy, relax, picnic and so on! Gainesville, home of the FL. Gators is a 45 min. drive for your football, baseball and other sporting loves. The Stephen Foster Culture Center in White Springs is only 19 miles away. The Lake City Medical Ctr. is just around the corner 4 min. away for all you health care providers or those with friends or family in the hospital. For those that would The Loft, an A-frame studio apt., sits above our 3 car garage. It is charming, clean, in a safe and quiet residential area just waiting to accommodate the single person or the married couple. It has a fully supplied kitchen with all that you would need except an oven and dishwasher, but it does have a microwave and a glass top 2 burner stove, refrigerator, utensils, pots, pans, dishes etc. and coffee bar. The Loft is perfect for 1-2 people. Sorry No Pets! No smoking! We love animals but not in our home. We are 2mi. off I75 and easy access if you are traveling. ( smoke alarm and fire extinguisher are on site.) maybe you desire to stay a night.or two somewhere other than a hotel? We’re your perfect option! 2 miles behind all those hotels off I75 and 90 sits our “Loft” quiet and peaceful.

'The Loft'

My husband needed a place to stay on short notice. I saw The Loft listing, it was the perfect place and the location was great. The studio apartment is charming and quiet, sitting on the 11th tee just as described. Communication with the host was seamless from start to finish. She responded promptly to all my messages. She was more than gracious to allow him to check-in that evening. They even checked in with my husband during his stay to make sure everything was going well. He definitely recommends 'The Loft' to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to golf or visit the river, state park, or a visit to Gainsville.

Wonderful & Peaceful

Shelley & Tom were great hosts. Our loft had everything we needed & a few extras that made our stay perfect. The space is very clean, cute & will meet all your needs. You'll have a lovely deck with a grill, rocking chair & patio set to spend time looking over the golf course sipping your morning coffee or a cold drink later on. The location is very convenient to everything including I-75. We will definitely book again.

Appeared to be new, but felt like home. The stairs would be a real challenge for someone with mobility issues, but sturdy, good hand rails. The host went overboard on great coffee and treats. Everything was convenient and more than adequate.
