It took three times to get the cards for the door lock right, Room did not look like the pictures online, smelled musty. the door itself could not be secured, dead bolt not working, the safety latch on door was also broken, Toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, no smoke detector which I know is against building codes

The only thing i did like was a bed to sleep in. No elevator No breakfast as promised TV remote INOP. LOCKED out of the room after a few hours. Attendant was great. Building looked terrible.

The room was fine, beds very comfy, but the bathroom sink was in the bedroom area. It was disturbing to sleepers when getting dressed at the vanity.

Super 8 Sulphur Lake Charles

This is an excellent location for those wanting to gamble at LauBerge du Luc Casino in Lake Charles. It is the exit before Loop 210 and is only about 2 miles from the Casino. Staff and Front Desk were very friendly. Sufficient "breakfast" is provided.

Tremendous disappointment! Go elsewhere

Check in was a disaster. Our room was paid in advance, yet the desk clerk insisted in an unbusinesslike way that we pay a $* balance, "that's the way it works when you book it online". She really had an attitude. She finally called a manager at home, and got it correct. Apologized, but it didn't make up for her previous nastiness. The room itself was pathetic. Everything worked, but it looked like perhaps a group of drunks had stayed in it previously. The case on the tv was cracked. The case on the microwave was cracked. The door on the fridge was cracked. The furniture didn't match. The chair at the desk was falling apart. The tv stand had an edge broken off. The only positive thing I can say about the room is that it at least appeared to be clean. Crummy, but clean. The continental breakfast was sad. Some old-looking sweet rolls, some old-looking coffee, and some juice. We went to a nearby restaurant instead. We booked this hotel as a mystery deal because it had a five smiling face review. It was a complete disappointment. Turns out, only one review had been submitted, and I suspect it was submitted by an employee of the hotel. I thought i was paying $* for an $* hotel. It turned out to be more like paying $* for a $* hotel. I would drive 50 miles farther if necessary to avoid staying here again. Definitely stay somewhere else.
