Avari Lahore
"Avari hotel Lahore is usually my first choice whenever visiting Lahore. Last couple of stays I feel that housekeeping staff is being too nosey. They walk in the room without permission especially if there’s a female. I requested for bathroom to be cleaned and replenished. I stepped out for a minute and 2 housekeeping staff walked inside the room to tell my wife they were done and if she needed anything else. I am the one who asked for service and had to step out for a minute I came back while they were leaving the room. My wife was upset that they tried to initiate a conversation with her while she was sitting on a sofa reading. Staff was clearly told to replenish the towels and wipe bathroom. It wasn’t the regular “make my room” request. They didn’t have to walk inside the room. I had a 2nd floor room. Hotel seems to have some new young staff who’s probably not trained on basic etiquettes. Very disappointing to see Avari signature professionalism is disappearing."
