Old school Hawaii vibes

We stayed in Kaanapali a couple years ago, and wanted to something in a smaller condo building, not a high-rise. We were very happy with our room overall. But we had 2 issues when checking in, there were 2 bags of laundry that housekeeping had left behind in the unit by the front door that they forgot to remove, and there was a line of tiny black ants running up the closet wall in the bathroom and over the shower. We couldn't get anyone to deal with either issue till the next day since it was after 4:30pm. They brought by a can of Raid on our second day.The bathroom was nice, other than needing more towel bars. And the bed was comfortable and roomy. I liked having a lanai on the ground floor, but maybe next time I'd get a 2nd floor room to have less chance of insects in the room. Having The Gazebo restaurant steps away from the room was great. And I was able to snorkel at the beach nearby, and again at Kapalua beach after an easy walk on the road. I would recommend using fins because I found the currents were pretty strong in Napili Bay, even in the inner part of the bay.

Retirement celebration vacation

Nāpili Shores is a great location. We have stayed there six times. Long drive to the east and southern parts of the island however. Quieter area since Lahaina fires/closure. Unit was fine and as advertised but no pots or pans was inconvenient.

Beautiful studio at Napili Shores

The studio apt is exactly as described. The bed is a very comfortable king size, and the apt has been beautifully renovated. The kitchen is well laid out, and is stocked with only the necessary cooking/eating items, but is limited on serving items and any extras. There is only 1 chair in the apt, no sofa, so if you are indoors types, plan to lounge on the bed.

Great family spot

Nice lawn area for kids to play. Good snorkeling in the bay 3-min walk south. Good wave playing in the beach 2-min walk north. Sea turtles to watch. Grocery store 3-minute drive away to make eating in easy. Great complex, lovely unit.

Just about PERFECT

This condo is nicely remodeled and furnished. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and entertaining , which we loved since we had family staying in 2 other units at Napili Shores. One large cooking spoon is all we lacked! We come to this peoperty almost every year and love it. G155 is great!

Wonderful Condo in Great Location

The unit was ideally located within Napilli Shores resort. Lanai looked out on the great lawn with a beautiful ocean view in the background. The lanai was sunny in morning and shady in afternoon — perfect! The condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Two items of note for future guests — there were no beach chairs or cleaning supplies in this unit which would have been nice for our two week stay. All in all, a great vacation spot. We’ll be back!

Another amazing stay

This is my 3rd stay in this unit. As usual, the unit was perfect. The location is amazing, close enough to the beach that you can hear the roar of the ocean through the night. The unit is well stocked with cookware, the bed is comfortable and the unit clean and tidy. While the property has the legendary Gazebo restaurant (with legendary lines), it has another restaurant that is off the lobby (new owners I understand), and was very pleased. The inside is a bit dated, but we sat on an outside picnic table which was pleasant. The appies were really good and the Mai Tai was one of the best I had, The service was quick and price was really good compared to the same items at other restaurants. Napili Beach is so close you don't even need shoes to walk there. I don't care for the pools at the property as the line up for the Gazebo runs through one pool so you get the constant chatter of patrons and the second pool has loud machinery (or fans) by it. If you like peace and quiet and being away from the crowds this is the place for you.

Perfect for 1 or 2 adults

Beautiful unit, our daughter enjoyed her stay here. She had several work calls to be on, the desk was very helpful for that. Spacious bathroom with nice shower update. She woke up to beautiful rainbow view over Napili bay. She hopes to stay again in the future!

Bayside Love Shack

Stylish little ground-floor studio, just steps from the pool and Napili Bay. Comfy king size bed with quality linens and plenty of extra towels--even beach towels. Quiet location in complex (at least for our stay). There were families above us, but once you are nestled in your private patio it's very tranquil. E-Z parking right outside the door if you have lots of luggage. Large master bath for a studio, with efficient well laid-out kitchen.

Great location and views

The location was great. Lots of amazing food options available nearby, some of the best beaches in Maui are walking distance, Lahina town is ~20 minutes drive and Napili market is 5 minutes away. The apartment itself was clean and the view from lanai was just wonderful.

Location, location, location!

A great unit tucked right in the heart of Maui’s prettiest area. I have a feeling this renovated unit is nicer than its surrounding neighbors. Price was great for what you get, unit was clean, the grounds are great and super relaxing. The walls are a little thin, so expect some noise bleed. Lots of families. The AC unit doesn’t blast. That’s ok. It was pretty hot during my most recent trip and it was fine. Combine it with the overhead ceiling fan and you’ll do great. It’s a tropical island. Front desk closed at 7pm (this may have been earlier than usual, non-pandemic hours). One night my card was zapped and I had to use the security phone outside the office to call for help. They met me at my room after a few minutes and let me in. Not as convenient as a 24 hour front desk but not the worst. The restaurant by the lobby has great drinks, not so great food. The other restaurant—The Gazebo—is legendary (a little overrated to be honest but a must try) and RIGHT THERE on the grounds. Thanks to COVID, there was a possible issue with the check-in date. Susan (the host) asked if I could delay a day due to back up with the cleaning crew. I could not, and Susan set up a plan B for me if we needed it, but we agreed to stay strong and see if the situation resolved itself. It did and everything worked out. Communication was prompt, honest, and polite. Great host.
