Overall a 4/5 experience! I would stay here again without a doubt. Simple check-in process, attentive host, great ocean views, and a well equipped condo. The only drawback I can think of was in regards to some of the aging furnishings.

This property is so clean, well maintained and quiet. This unit offers very good views. The unit is well stuffed with amenities. Only drawback: It is not on the beach but if thats not a big deal, it is outstanding !

Great location!

Great location and view! Elevator was being replaced so a little challenging to get upstairs, but good for the heart and legs . Also needs the screen door fixed but didn’t hinder things at all! Love this little condo

Babymoon in Maui

My husband and I had an awesome stay at Hale Ono Loa. The condo had everything we needed and was in a great location, close to beaches and restaurants. We loved spending time on the balcony and enjoying the tropical views. Would definitely recommend this rental! A very memorable babymoon.

The best condo complex on the coast

Hale Ono Loa was a dream. We LOVED staying here. The ocean views, the terrace to watch sunsets, the friendly neighbors, the stairway down to the ocean... Being just above Lahaina away from the resort corridor, but close enough if you wanted to go there. We can't express how much we enjoyed staying here. We will absolutely be back! Mahalo!

Beautiful View - Needs Updating

Let's start with the good: Big Lanai with a great view. Complex is quiet and very well maintained and you will most likely have the pool and some of the surrounding area to yourself. Not So Good: For the price paid, this unit needs some updating, Specifically, the sofa and chair in the Living Room needed reupholstery and the bathroom, aside from being tiny, is old. Because there is no A/C, the road noise from the road at night can be loud - keep in mind the bedroom window faces this direction. The Really Not So Good: I was lucky enough to stay mostly on a weekend so was not impacted but as others have mentioned there was construction in the unit below me (loud!) and some exterior painting going on as well. Had I been there during the week this would have seriously impacted my stay. I realize this is tricky for the owner to be aware of and mitigate for propective guests but it's worth mentioning anyway. Overall, nice place with good potential. A small remodel (there's that noise again!) is recommended.

Fabulous rental

This condo was just the best. So clean, so well stocked with everything in the kitchen. Also had cooler available for beach time, maps in info on activities too. The view is so delightful. Watched lots of whales from the Lanai and lots of turtles out at the beach wall. Pool and large sun deck never crowded. Neighbors were friendly as i went in search of quarters for the laundry.

Great Location, Gorgeous View

We found the property to be ideally located—close (but not too close) to Lahaina and all the Kaanapali development. Our third floor unit had a spectacular view—we could sit in the shade on our deck eating breakfast or lunch, enjoying a mai tai, watching the whales, etc. The unit was very well equipped—had all the essentials and many of the little extras that made it very easy and pleasant to live there for five days. Didn’t need to buy a thing other than food, drinks, and sunscreen!

Fantastic views

Property was excellent. As soon as we walked in the door we were happy with our choice. Condo was clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. The view was outstanding, sunsets were spectacular and we saw whales everyday. Lonnie checked in once we arrived to ensure everything was as expected and was very responsive throughout the process. If we come back to Maui, we would for sure stay here again.

Wonderful Homokwai

Lovely small condo overlooking the ocean. Could hear the ocean from the condo. Good amenities, in that beach towels and chairs were provided for day activities. Having the ability to separate the bed area from the rest of the condo would have been nice, particularly since my wife was ill and in bed for a day. (folding door of some sort?)

GREAT STAY

The unit was as great as advertised. Lanai over looking the pool, sundeck,and best of all the ocean. Beautiful sunsets each evening and the gentle sounds of the waves. There is no need for air conditioning as a constant breeze blows through the unit at all times, making it very comfortable at most times. Sleeping was great with the breeze and the ocean sounds. The unit was well equipped with all the necessary items for bathing, cooking, coolers for travel, beach towels, and misc items. We would consider this unit for any time we return to Maui and would recommend to any couple looking for a place to stay in Maui. Nearby to stores, restaurants, beaches, Lahaina, and route 30 which is the main coast road on the west side of Maui.
