Our room was very outdated and did not look anything like the room that was pictured upon booking. Yes, there was a disclosure about the property being sold "as is" but either way the room we stayed was not near close to what we were expecting. It seemed like we treated differently too when they realized we had booked through a 3rd party.

There was a clear lack of staffing during our stay. The front desk was usually staffed by just one person who had to manage everything, which led to long wait times anytime we needed assistance. Housekeeping was also disappointing—our room wasn’t cleaned at all during the entire week, and the trash was only taken out once.

Great location on the beach and close to shopping, dining and snorkeling. Our room was beautifully equipped with all the necessities of home. We made use of the outdoor grills to bbq dinner at night. The complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning was lovely. I made use of the fitness center each morning as well (open 24 hrs) and the equipment was clean and well cared for. The pool area was great, lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas and never over crowded. Pool towels were easy to exchange at the front desk. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if we are back in Maui!

Great vacation, noisy property.

The property is located near the highway. It is quite noisy. On top of that they do some work, so you are going to hear jackhammer as well. They will have a sign that they are going work only this particular week Mon-Wed 10am-2pm, but they keep working until 4pm and also Thursday and Friday and then next week they update the signs for the new week. They do NOT have A/C. They have ventilation slats, as many properties on Hawaii, but they were painted over and we couldn't open them. It was quite hot inside. It got colder towards the morning, we had to ask for a blanket 3 times, we got the blanket for our third night there. We had a blast, but the property wasn't the highlight of our vacation.

Overall a really wonderful experience. Staff was incredible. Hotel is in greay location. Overall clean. A bit dated relative to newer hotels, but the value is excellent. Would stay there again. Oh, had two kids - 19 and 15 with and everyone was haply with accommodations

The staff were very nice but when we asked for new towels because the ones we had had bugs on them, they did not have staff to bring them upstairs. The place was great and they were able to accomodate a late check out. They have bathroom to use even after you check out and back to retrieve your luggage which I think was great. The major thing we have against the place is that there were roaches and bugs!

Loved the staff & customer service was excellent! Suggestions for the room: 1. Bathroom was missing a towel rack which was much needed, to dry towels. 2. There was very little space in the kitchen to store the food we purchased. There is a closet in the kitchen which appears to have been the size and shape meant to be a pantry. An easy fix would be to add shelves. Additional Property charges weren't clear on Expedia 1. Resort charge about $40, one time. 2. Property charge about $25 each day. Parking Could be close or far from the room, as many of the spots are reserved. The staff were kind enough to let us park closer due to our age & health needs, this was an exception though. Again, we would come stay at this property, but ask more questions before hand.

Fantastic and beautiful resort in a prime location. Just a bit dated. Only issue was sofa bed. King bed is fine but the ones using (extra) sofa bed will be uncomfortable. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful place with hotel ameniti s but feels like you're renting a condo. Loved the complimentary coffee in the mornings. Everything was nearby and convenient. There's a nice cafe restaurant on site right next to the beach and 2 pools. It was a place that had a good number of people staying there but it didn't feel crowded. Lots of space to spread out. The room was nice and big ngor 3 people we got a room with a king bed and pull out couch that was nice. The room has a full kitchen but the microwave was the best part. You can even see more stars at night around there. Kids are around but it wasn't hard to have peace and quiet. I read a great book from their communal library. Staff was nice and attentive. I got an amazing massage at the Spa Le Mer which reset my whole body! The location is close to a lot of other nice hotels and beaches. Grocery stores and nice restaurants nearby. 5 mins from snorkeling and Whalers Village. Very nice place and I would return and stay here again. Mahalo!
