The room was fine. At midnight the hotel had issues with key pads. Front desk came into our room without annoucing themselves and took our key card out of holder by door. A few minutes later they came back and gave us a key with no explanation. About 20 minutes after it happened I went to front desk and asked for an explanation. They appeared to not understand why I was asking questions and that the simple answer was that we now had a key and were safe. I still didnt feel safe. Husband and I put a chair in front of door in the case someone also tried to enter. Not the best sleep before going on a cruise.

Hotel was very nice and the staff outstanding. It is located on the beach overlooking the Med. Easy walking distance to good restaurants and downtown. The free breakfast was typically European and very nice. The only problem we had was with the cab to the cruise terminal not showing up despite every effort by the hotel staff. Would recommend the San Giorgio to anyone staying in Civitavecchia.

Very clean, spacious. Bed was in mezzanine upstairs, hot as air conditioner was downstairs. Big beautiful window with view of garbage cans in alley!

Rooms were nice. Front staff were great and helpful to cruisers. Good location. Kitchen and wait staff were not good. Go to a restaurant that is happy for your business.

There was some kind of reception the night we spent there. We were not informed that this was an occurrence there. Unable to sleep due to the blasting music until the early morning hours.
