JUFA Hotel Murau
"Beautiful setting! We kept saying “wow” over and over! Staff was very helpful despite a slight language barrier. Rooms were very basic-small (but reasonable considering all European hotels have small rooms) very clean. We were there during an intense heat wave and not used to not having AC, the room was miserably hot but the staff found us two fans that we were able to use during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend walking around, but be aware that hours for local businesses varies with some being closed for hours at a time. There’s a few SPARs (groc), BIPA (pharmacy type stuff… think shampoo, diapers, first aide) and then Billa (groc) but they were all closed on Sunday. Hotel Lecher is an awesome dinner place- great food, and service staff were able to speak English. Check out the local beer gardens as well."
