This was a lovely hotel. We were just in the area 1 night to see some Chateaux’s, so it was convenient to start our next day on our way to Chononceau. Draw back it it’s a business park area and really no where to eat especially on a Sunday. We made do with McDonalds🙂

Beautiful hotel, nice large room and bathroom, good breakfast, evening meal not so good, would not eat there again, asked for our steak medium and it was rare and a little tough, waiting staff very good and attentive, had to pay 150 euros on arrival as a deposit otherwise they would not have given us the room, 2 days after leaving I am still waiting for it back!!

Beautiful hotel! Beautiful well appointed room. Comfortable King size bed. Great shower. Wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed having a couch and coffee table. Separate toilet room. Would have preferred real coffee cups rather than cardboard cups. Would have liked a shelf or alcove in the shower to hold our soap and shampoo. But everything else was just perfect!

Easy to find after a long journey, safe secure parking and very welcoming staff on reception. We were upgraded - without asking - to a lovely spacious room and wished we could have stayed longer! It was lovely. It was really conveniently located for Vouvray - where we're headed the next day.

Unexpected pleasure

This was our first stay at a Westotel. Having stayed at many premier chain hotels, I can say this was one of the best. Our room was large, fully equipped and spotless. Because we had travelled all day we decided to eat in the hotel. I am rarely if ever impressed by the quality or variety of hotel food. This was a truly excellent meal with good wines

Little English by desk staff. Fastidious about requiring paper registration by each person. Got notices before arriving about possible cancellation of reservations (2 rms) because credit card had been changed. I had to call from Mongolia where I was traveling before France. Room not ready until exactly 4 pm. Very expensive breakfast and dinner starting at 7 pm. Dangerous shower with very smooth floor and no mat, bar or other support. Worst thing was that thermostat could not be set below 23 degrees C so it was too warm. I would not stay there again mostly because of the thermostat control issue but lots of minor inconveniences, particularly for tourists and more so for non-French speakers. It was very clean and room good size.

Is a very good hotel, with a convenient location if you are planning to visit the area, Valley of Loire, with free parking. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the only issue was the wifi connection (which is free) that was very poor and slow, and they dont offer a high speed wifi alternative.

Excellent hotel

Great hotel with plenty of on site parking. Most of the staff were very friendly and keen to help. Good food in the restaurant and good value. It is on the outskirts of town but with a LeClerc hypermarket across the road and an excellent boulangerue/patisserie nearby.

Clean . Smart & modern but classy as well. Easy to park. Good air conditioning . Good food in hotel restaurant after a days drive. Tasty local bakery for light breakfast. When my daughter left her favourite bracelet in the room they phoned us later in the day and then arranged postage of it back to our home in the UK. Ace. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Baked goods in nearby bakery. Yum!

Used as a stop over for a drive from Perpignan to Calais so we could explore Tours for a day. Good parking and 10minute drive into the city, lots of facilities nearby as in a commercial area. Friendly welcome, room was spacious and very clean, perfect for me and my two boys.
