Superb hotel but no restaurant on site

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with excellent staff. Lovely to be upgraded to a delux suite, loads of room, superb sea view, lovely swimming pool. Home from home feel. The only comfort downside, which I did not realise when booking, was there is no restaurant at all on site although a very limited charcuterie board selection menu and breakfast menu all served in your room or on your private terrace, all nice quality but personally I would have preferred a restaurant and more selection. Otherwise a superb hotel in a great location.

We were welcomed by a friendly, attentive staff and shown to a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean and the hills. Each time we left, someone from the front desk would add a bit of helpful information to enhance whatever plans we had conceived for the day. Our rooms were always clean and fresh when we returned and amenities restocked. It's a short walk into the village, which has numerous restaurants and a beautiful jetty near the citadel to watch the sunset and cafes to watch the moonrise. There was a live band in the marina area Friday night playing a mix of local standards and bluesy interpretations of pop songs. It was a lovely few days.

Lovely but not a complete 5 star experience

We had a great stay in Corsica; the north still feels relatively undiscovered and the hotel was in an excellent location on the outskirts of Saint Florent, within 20 minutes walking distance of the port side restaurants. What we liked about the hotel was the quality, cleanliness, comfort and the quiet and understated ambience. The pool facilities (indoor and outdoor) were excellent and the rooms helped by our large balcony, were comfortable with great views to the sunsets over the Med. The staff were friendly and like the hotel, understated. However, we can't give it a 5 star review as it was lacking in some areas - for example, at 46 Euros for 2, the breakfast was very poor in value; frankly it was mean and so we ended up buying our own in. The hotel didn't have a communal eating area to speak of (you could go to the poolside if you wanted to) and so breakfast was in the room. Nothing wrong with that but it reflected a wider strategy to avoid guest interaction which felt an opportunity missed. The hotel has now created an excellent restaurant next door where the food was very good but there was no lunch served. There was a very limited and expensive menu in the hotel. We also noted things like bottled water weren't provided daily, just the one on arrival Overall, it is a lovely hotel to stay and I wouldn't put you off if you are happy with the price but for whatever reason, they don't have a complete strategy to be a great 5 star experience, in my opinion.

Excellent hotel just outside the centre with all the facilities you could require, beautiful rooms with a balcony on which your breakfast is served on. We enjoyed our stay there and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant next door which was amazing.

Had an upgrade to the studio suite - a really fantastic service. Great pool and very clean room. Didn't use restaurant facilities. Breakfast was tasty, if a little overpriced. Overall, would recommend.

The definition of luxury!

This hotel was amazing, my wife and I stayed here for a few nights during our honeymoon and felt like we were in a palace! The attention to detail and the luxurious feel of the hotel were amazing. Not one complaint!

The honeymoon hotel

We (my wife and I ) spent a wonderful week on honeymoon in this hotel. Thoughts on the room. We liked the room, it was spacious and well appointed. The balcony in the room had a fabulous view of the sea. The adjoining bathroom. The bathroom was modern in a classical way. Jacuzzi and lively shower with really nice bathrobes. Breakfast The option to have breakfast on the balcony was wonderful and the service was excellent. There was no fresh fruit salad for breakfast which was a disappointment but generally it was a wonderful experience . The swimming pool. The pool area was really nice. Always enough sun loungers and their was high and came in the format of single and doubles for couples . Service around the pool was good for ordering bar snacks / drinks. Felt that there could have been more shrubbery/plants around the pool. But again, a suggestion . Location to Saint Florent. Its a 10 minute walk to the centre of Saint Florent which is fine. In summing up, we would absolutely recommend the Demure Loredana for Holiday.

Fairy-tale charm!

My boyfriend and I decided to stay in Saint Florent for the night and found this charming boutique hotel. It could not have been more perfect! The staff were so polite, informative, helpful and impeccably dressed. I met the owner at check-in and again at my departure. What a gem and how kind she was to help me send a few postcards back to friends and family. She clearly cares deeply about the hotel and it shows in all aspects -- design (fascinating antique pieces on display!), aesthetics, amenities, service and cleanliness. I HIGHLY recommend staying a few nights here and don't miss a few cocktails in the lounge area after a night out!

Very nice hotel - but overpriced

The hotel is very nice, and the service is impeccable. Rooms are of a good size and beautifully appointed. But given that it is located a little on the outskirts of St. Florent (nothing serious, it takes 15 minutes to walk) and on the "wrong" side of the road, with a little pool (which "infinity" effect is basically negated by the big hedge put up just in front of it to protect against the sometimes strong wind). It seems a little overpriced. And that at the price, breakfast is not included, that's a little annoying. But, these are niggles, and do not take away the fact that the hotel is very good and we had a very pleasent stay.

Thoroughly luxurious

Lovely hotel with great personalised service. Others have mentioned the lack of a bar and restaurant and the pool is not heated but none of that is a problem if you know in advance and are prepared. Breakfast is extraordinary and worth the money if you are hungry !! Classy establishment perfect for a special stay.

Very classy hotel.

We had three relaxing nights here, the management and staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious and charming, as were the public areas. It was not cheap, but good value for money . However prices for this - and, I gather, everywhere else in Corsica, go through the roof in July/August, so be warned! May - June are the best times to visit, in my opinion, as the weather is pleasantly warm, and the place isn't crawling with tourists.

Great hotel, quiet

The hotel was lovely. Room size was great, big bathroom. The best part for parents traveling with a small child was the large (safely enclosed) terrace, where we were able to enjoy some wine after our child went to bed. The pool area was great as well, comfortable day beds. Bit far to the marina area, walk along ocean is beautiful, but sidewalks with the bumps were not great for a stroller.
