I stayed in a ground balcony room. Room was spacious, modern, clean and lovely. Great value and excellent location. Breakfast was average. I wouldn’t recommend the buffet, lots of options around the hotel for breast. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay again.

What I like is it's location near mostly everything I needed. And the staff are so helpful. What I didn't like is the sound in the room! You can hear everything around you even what's happening in the other rooms and the lobby.

The Mercure Kuta Bali is a great mid-level hotel. It has a solid buffet in the morning, but it can get busy, and if you eat on the second level, you may have to carry your food up a flight of stairs. The resort has a nice pool overlooking the ocean across the street. It is not in the quietest location. The spa also has an ocean view, and is a great bargain for the location.

“The hotel had a great location—very close to the beach, restaurants, and a large shopping center. The room was nice and comfortable. However, the lobby was quite hot, and unfortunately, there were no fans or air conditioning there. The breakfast was also disappointing; we tried it on the first day and decided not to eat there again.

We had one long island ice tea, only, because it tasted like flat cola with no alcohol in. Basic popular drink, radler, not available. The double Jim Beam and come finally tasted like a normal drink but at over $20 per drink. The buffet dinner was horrible and cold with poor options. Absolute waste of money. No money change option. One good thing was when the tv didn't work they did change the tv out for a new one which was good. They also organised a taxi for us (at our cost) to the airport when we asked last minute. Hotel transfer wasn't available at the early hours we had to fly out. Wasn't an issue though, just more a heads up to keep some cash aside.

Great location on beach

The location was the best . Close to everything , shops /beach/restaurants . The hotel was clean and had food choices at breakfast ( lots of Asian food) . We had an inner court room which was a mistake , the noise from people at the restaurant and motorbikes checking in just bounce off the walls making it noisy .

We booked 3 nights at this property in a deluxe room. I would not recommend this place. We ended up only staying for 1 night and checked out early. The room was stuffy even though we had the AC going at night. There is a mouldy damp smell in the room which we thought would disappear after the AC was on but the smell staying for the entire night which made it unbearable to sleep.

Decent Stay, but Not a 4-Star Experience I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be good value for the price I paid. While the property itself could use a refresh, the overall experience was satisfactory. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, I wouldn’t classify this as a true 4-star hotel. If you’re looking for an affordable and clean stay with great service, it’s worth considering.
