The room had plenty of space, was modern, and clean. We had a great view. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and included a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The public areas of this hotel are impressive — the rooftop pool, bar, lobby and restaurant all have a premium feel that sets expectations high. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. However, the rooms tell a different story. While everything you need is there — good shower pressure, towels, a fully equipped kitchen — the overall look and feel is quite basic and underwhelming. It reminded me more of a budget hotel chain than a Hyatt property. I also requested a high floor but was given one of the lowest, which was disappointing given the building's height and the views on offer. Worth noting too that elevator noise was noticeable from my room despite being some distance from the shaft — you could hear the muted rumble of lifts moving up and down the building. A solid option for the facilities and service, but don't expect the room itself to wow you.
