The room was comfortable but we were very disappointing to find we were 10min away from the beach, the swimming pool and restaurant. Our room was closer to the other bay in the east side where is not possible to swim. We traveled with our 5yo so it was very inconvenient to go back and forth from the room to the beach. I think the location of room should be disclosure during booking to make an informed choice.

Great location on the bay; the best attribute. Hotel service was good, restaurant/bar not so much - most seemed they didn't want to be there and I was there many days (comparable to competing resort properties). Restaurant was disappointing so after first day we always sought alternatives, which there are several. The top reason to stay there is location.

I loved the privacy of our pool villa but my ONLY issue was that the pool was not heated and was quite cold..even in the hot weather it needed to be warmer. Plus they didn’t have any lamps. The lights were a little weird in the room.

We loved Railay Bay Resort and wish we stayed longer. I had 2 massages with Kate which were excellent. The only downside is the restaurant on location is quite average. The restaurant is very understaffed, but otherwise the rest of the resort seemed well taken care of with plenty of help.

The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Staff very attentive. Monkeys, lizards and exotic birds visiting everyday. Two great pools, the one outside our terrace was peaceful, always sun loungers available. Good choice at breakfast but lunch and dinner prices quite expensive in comparison to local restaurants. Overall, loved my stay.
