Nice hotel.

Very good. It has amazing swimming pools and serves good food. It also has a happy hour where you can get 2 drinks for the price of 1. The hotel is located close to Ao Nang main road and there is a lot ot shops, restaurants and other stuffs to do. Am not giving a 5 because there was water leakage in the bathroom and the WIFI kept disconnecting. In general, the staffs were pleasant but some of them needs to seriously learn to the courteous.

This is not a 4 star hotel maybe 20 years ago.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the pool and staff. This hotel is no longer a 4 star maybe 20 years ago. The property needs to be updated. The rooms are in terrible condition. My room had ants and bugs all over including the bed. This should not be an expedia propertly.

Most disappointed I've ever been in a Hotel.

I will start with the positives: -Close to the center of Ao Nang, 10m walking or 80bht wit a Tuk Tuk -The pool area is actually very nice -The staff in general was very helpful and well mannered, despite limited English skills Now I won't even mention the number of stars this hotel holds, this hotel is huge and seems completely abandoned, it is literally falling apart. There are more staff members than clients, and yet there isn't enough staff for all the facilities they've got. Result is that the spa/gym/pool bar etc are almost always unattended, and generally I have the impression that no one is responsible for maintaining those areas. The rooms are huge, but also falling apart, my toilet sit was held together by something that looked like cement, a grey glue. Furniture semi destroyed, electric cables out of the power sockets. I had also paid for the room with a pool view, what I got was a room with the view on a construction site, if you leaned over the fence on the balcony you could see part of the pool that is true, but the view from the room wasn't worth paying extra. Unless the pool is a must, anyone would be better off staying at a well run B&B, even if the prices were the same, which they're not. I don't like writing this because the staff still manages to do a decent job, despite the conditions they're having to work in, but unless this place undergoes some drastic changes, I'd suggest you stay away from it.

Grand hotel with patina

It a goo deal. it a big grand hotel that could use some updating, but parts like the pool is very nice. The rooms are large and clean. It gave me the feel of a hotel in India. I saw some negative reviews saying there was mold. There are some dark stains on the outside walls, but the inside was clean. I'd recommend it

reasonably nice hotel (Jan16)

This hotel location is not proximity to beach. (15 to 20 mins walking), but its good for a serene stay. The rooftop hotel have an amazing ocean/ city view during your breakfast break in morning. There have 3 layers of pools (top/ middle/ bottom pool) which have a very good ocean view on top pool during view. The middle pool is very inconvenience for elderly folks/ kids to enter in/ out from pool because of no ladder or platform accessible. The bottom pool is kids pool. The GYM room is most terrified with no equipment maintenance and the gym space is pretty small which have limited space for movement and the room is stuffy too. The Hotel room is big but old. If the hotel wanna to serve most guests, an upgrading of hotel is must for better reputation.

Average to bad

This hotel have a nice swimming pool. Bad breakfasts buffet and the restaurant look sad and worn out. The room is big, bath room and wood floor very dirty and old with so many scars on the floor , lamps shades of the room are dirty with stains and broken, some part of the room wall have some dead mosquitos crashed by previous customer !!! Housekeeper are slow on service . There is a big and noisy hydraulic machine in front of our room door, very bad and sad view ... Overall this hotel need a better management to give a good service for customers, and the owner need to invest some money to refurbish this place , and paint the wall beside the pools to get a better look to welcome customers on arrival .

Highly recommend Pavilion Queen's Bay.

We had an excellent stay at Pavilion Queen's Bay for one week. It was a great location in Krabi. Up the hill from the main street and beaches but easy walking distance to everything. The hotel had excellent meals, a great pool, incredible views of the area and priced fairly. Hotel staff were resourceful and made our stay a great one. I highly recommend this hotel.

Photos doesn't reflect the real situation

It is a very big hotel. I booked the deluxe room, the bed area is not particularly big, quite ok, most of the space has gone to the bathroom, as the wardrobe is in the bathroom. The balcony is very big. Very quiet surrounding. The hotel is a bit run down. The wood finish looking was very old looking. Room light was very dim, was not working so well and wire very loose so may not work every time when you get into the room. Location is ok, about 10 mins walk to a second main street of Au Nang, then another 10 mins walk to the major shopping area and restaurant. If you want to take tuk tuk, it costs 50 baht. There is a 7-eleven about 8 mins walk. Restaurant in the hotel is very nice, overlooking the sea. No many people in hotel. The swimming pool is not so big, has 3 levels but very clean and nice. Overall, price is ok, just beware of the location.

Needs a overhaul

The Pavillion would have been great back in the day but tired and needs renovation, especially the showers and toilets. For the price it is acceptable but staying for 8 nights your better off finding something more fresh. Great views, pool ok. Staff limited English. Close walk to the main strip.

Great

The staff seemed a bit distracted at breakfast, but that was probably because there was no one there. Weak instant coffee too. Wonderful rooms. And we were hugely impressed by the free Christmas Eve buffet, which had everything. And suddenly the staff melted and were great... Fully recommend. Just a 10-minute walk from the beach and bars/shops/restaurants.

Do NOT stay here!

This hotel was terrible, disgusting and the biggest disappointment of my trip! I checked in as a 'treat' for myself while travelling, Queens pavilion was so horrible that I checked out early and went back to the fabulous hostel I was in before.First off,the room smelled like a prison cell, the walls were blue with damp and mould, almost everything I touched was falling apart. The massive cube of tv had no English channels.Because of the dampness, everything felt wet, including the bed and towels, and even my clothes smelled bad after I left. The 'luxurious dressing gown and slippers' was a damp robe in the wardrobe with no slippers. There was nothing in the mini bar except the cupboard and fridge were falling apart. There wasn't enough toilet roll given. The spa offers only 7 treatments at crazy expensive prices so no luxury there either.the street wouldve been better than queens pavilion! The breakfast was disgusting, fruit had flies in it, everything was stone cold and was rock hard.the staff practically stood beside me while I ate,and chatted loudly among themselves and creepily asked was I travelling alone. The only nice thing about this hotel is the pool area. I didn't listen to the bad reviews of this hotel, but please take my advice, you would be better off staying in a hostel. This hotel was the lowpoint, the extreme disappointment and let down of my trip.A complete waste of time and money. Simply, Do NOT stay here!!!
