We had a wonderful stay at Kai Lani. We went with good friends, and in total, our four teenage daughters. It’s a gorgeous property in a lovely location. What a beautiful view we had every morning. Everything was clean, new, and uncluttered. We had a great time lounging together in the mornings in the main living area making coffee, and eating breakfast. For lunch, our girls could go off on their own. It’s a beautiful walk to the beach, great for running, too. We walked along the coastline to the shopping center as well. The families took turns making dinners. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large refrigerator and separate large freezer, as well as a grill outside. Lots of pots and pans, mugs, cups and wine glasses. There is a lot of space inside and out to hangout as a group, for smaller conversations, or for reading alone in a quiet spot. We loved that the girls could room together in the bunk beds. The beds are big, and the bunks, sturdy and well-made. Each bed has a small little built-in cubby with an outlet. The hot tub and pool were nice as well, with plenty of towels for the bathrooms and the beach.We stayed in Poipu for most of the week but also drove up to the North Shore for snorkeling, and then another trip to Waimea Canyon for a long hike. Beautiful and easy road trips from this part of the island. It was the first time for some of us to visit Kauai, and we loved it. We highly recommend a stay at Kai Lani Villa Poipu. What a lovely week we had together!
