"Don’t let the building scare you, it’s a work in progress, rooms were nice and freshly remodeled, decent bathroom, they are working on the dinning area / bar to be ready in future- decent place, kind of expensive for what it is, but so is the area…"

"We wanted to be south of Lassen NP, so our options were limited. The charge for the property was overpriced for the amount of space one had. The linens were lovely. Pillows were good. The restaurant was a lovely place and staff were great, but they were short-handed and we didn’t get our food for an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered and then it was cold!! "

"The pictures don't do justice to this property. The red carpet makes the pictures look dated, but the property is immaculate. The house is as equipped as they come and they are generous enough to provide firewood, charcoal, starters... And you can see that the property is made and maintained with lot of history and love. Its a gem"

"Very nice unit with many nice items in kitchen and attractive dishware. No dishwasher. Can hear noise from highway but not a major issue. Compact unit. Our EV (2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5) did not work with the on-site charger but the owner arranged for us to use the charger of a neighbor that worked. Was warm (went in August) so needed to have windows open at night to cool down the unit - no AC. That was ok, just a little warm the first night. Used as a launch pad to visit Lassen and was very good for that purpose. "
