There were stains on the bed sheets, mold and must smelling rotting wood in the bathroom and my husband killed a big cockroach in the bathroom. I would not stay here

Location was brilliant and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Comfy beds and mosquito net which came in useful. The rooms seemed to be hotter than outside and the WiFi completely went off in our rooms and they couldn’t seem to do anything about it. The sink seemed to be handing off slightly in our room so could do with a bit more maintenance.

Probably my worst ever hotel stay. Cockroaches in the room, very dirty sheets, broken lights and unstable foundations. Informed the hotel staff about some of these but no action taken. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere

Really ratchet. If you can avoid, would do. It’s not clean or nice. Not worth the money. Rooms are hot and smell musty. Sheets are stained. Bed is uncomfortable. I had to sleep on my sleeping bag to make it through the night

Lots of character... but also a lot of mozzies!

Heaps of mozzies! We booked a standard room with fan. It was really hot and stuffy. Had to keep window open but beware of the mozzies! The pool was a little green, could be cleaner. The place had character but it wasn’t very clean. The sheets had a few stains. Shower had very little pressure. Small room. Great location. Friendly staff.

The place is so nice, full of trees. Just only restroom is too small. Big thanks to staff, they were helping me to do handstand (365 days handstand challenge) and charging my cellphone (forgot a charging cable).

Great for the price

We loved this place. We thought it was a great deal for the price. The location was great1 close to town but not in the middle of it so we could sleep at night, but we also didn’t have to hike up a mountain to get to it every day. The AC worked well and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Staff was also nice.

Great Place

This is one of the nicest and most affordable hotels around, it's at the end of a relatively quite street away from the crowds. Lady's at the front desk will help you with anything and the food is great, bartender at the back pool is amazing also. To anyone who rated this place poor due to the garbage outside and occasional sewer smell, do your research before coming to Phi Phi, that's how it is everywhere in SE Asia. Better yet stay back in America.

nice but not great

the area was good to be out the way of the noise (but only 5 mins away from everything) but the steps up to your bungalow ( we were at the stop) were not lit up and night and very steep. the pool area is lovely but you get no sun there so the pool is freezing and only 6 sunbeds. seemed expensive for what you got but that seemed to be phi phi island all toegther. no where to put you clothes. very basic too. but over all everything was fine x

So-so hotel

The location wasn't bad at this hotel, it was away from the big party scene so it was as quiet as you can get on Koh Phi Phi and the people working were quick with helping what we needed. The room was alright, the air conditioner didn't work great and the wifi was very slow. The bed was also uncomfortable.

Terrible place and over priced for what it is!!!

We payed about 960 Baht for this place and it was a complete dump. Our hotels have been averaging about 500-1100 Baht a night and this one has been the worst place we stayed in and they charged us more than we normal pay for a nice place. Don't let them trick you about their pool either it sucks and closes at 800 at night. I would pay a max of 500 Baht for this place. Also their a/c doesn't work so don't be sold on that.

UNSAFE & DIRTY DO NOT STAY HERE

Aircon didn't work, every window was smashed with broken netting not to mention the lock on the door didn't work along with a huge gap for snakes to get under the front door. Towels and bedding STANK! With a sign on the front door saying beware of attacking monkeys. Service was poor when we asked to change bungalows we were refused so we had to walk straight out and find somewhere else and lose the money we paid. There was one plug socket in the whole place that was hanging off the wall ! It was unsafe from wildlife and from anyone else who wanted to steal our belongings. Pool was filthy and service was shocking plus a TREK to get there from the pier. Not worth a £1 !

Cockroach on my face???

We got there. Nice island jungle feel to it. Pool was ok it had a good idea to it, nice setting etc. The rooms were basic, but we were ok with that and didn't expect too much for the price. However we later discovered that the sheets weren't clean and they had a kind of damp feel to them. Not very comfortable!! So as we had showered to get ready for bed, there were so many flies that had appeared in our room and 2 big lizards. So we had to battle with the flies and lizards to get them out. This made us feel prettt uncomfortable.. and it had a creepy crawling sense to it in the entire place. That's ok if you don't mind that sort of thing and don't mind that kind of experience!! However it was all too much when... I woke up to feeling something on my face. Woke instantly sat up and saw it sat there on the bed next to me automatically brushing it off away from me, that's when I then discovered a massive cockroach. My partner tries to catch it to get it out, it went under the bed to then persist to get straight back on the bed again. That's when we caught it. After that we was up pretty much the entire night fearing another cockroach or go knows what on us again. Night from hell. Check out immediately the next morning. Went to Phi Phi Dream. Had a nice room there. So bottom line is... maybe don't book this hotel if you like clean sheets at least and you don't want bugs in your room and most of all on your face!!

Underwelmed

I wasn't that impressed, the door didn't seal properly and it was kind of noisy. The staff made me feel like a burden and it was pain that I was staying there. There was one older employee that was awesome.
