I loved this hotel! You can just put on your fins and goggles and you have a beautiful reef right outside the hotel. You have the sunset in the ocean, and dolphins show up. The staff is very friendly, and can arrange all activities at good price. I loved that the bathroom was an outside backyard.

Emplacement magnifique au bord de l’eau malheureusement la chambre mériterait un coup de rénovation - moustiquaire trouée, plomberie et électricité visible, problèmes d’arrivée d’eau froide. Mauvais rapport qualité-prix pour la nourriture. Le staff de l’hôtel est serviable mais, selon nous, manque légèrement d’amabilité.

When we arrived, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. They offered to move us to their second hotel inland, which we refused. I then asked why they hadn’t informed us in advance. The answer quickly became clear: it was their scheme. They deliberately overbook the hotel to lure desperate tourists into their second hotel further inland. Other guests were also not informed in advance, even those who arrived after us – despite me explicitly pointing this out to the staff! This further reinforced my suspicion that this is their strategy to direct guests to their partner hotel. This suspicion was further confirmed when we encountered other guests with the exact same experience. Local neighbors also told us that this happens repeatedly. They didn’t even reimburse us for the taxi back. In the end, we lost a lot of money and had to book another hotel. Great location, beautiful views – but in the wrong hands. Stay away!

Man skal være forberedt på, at hotellets pool trænger til modernisering, at ikke alle værelser lever op til billederne, at badeværelserne er udendørs og at strømmen/wifi kan forsvinde under opholdet. Hotellets personale vil dog strække sig langt for at tilgodese dine ønsker og de behandler dig som en del af deres lille familie, når du er gæst hos dem.

Avoid at all cost!!!

The worst experience in Zanzibar, we were met by unfriendly people, poor service, and the place felt very weird. We complained about the room not having a safe and was met with instant hostility. The room was not ready for guests and there was a door into another room only locked by a few nails. Funny enough the person living next door was from our country and came out and told us about the hostile hotel crew. The bathroom was outside which is fine but we could be seen from other buildings so it was very violating to our privacy. Due to the hostility when we asked for a safe we chose not to complain further but simply check out and will request a refund as this place simply sold something they didn’t have:
