Book a hotel near Kinmen Military Headquarters of the Qing Dynasty, Kinmen Island

"The Moker House is a great small property that combines the best of convenience and quality. The place is a 5 story modern building. The owners live on the top floor and provide caring and responsive service to those who are staying. Floors 2,3, and 4 are single private rooms with balcony and elevator access. The first floor is a mini kitchen and eating and reception area. The rooms are very nice with laminate floors, very comfortable beds, and an excellent modern en suite bathroom. The small balcony is perfect for morning coffee and knocking out emails on the wi-fi. Liz, the owner, took great care of us. Old town is right across the street, with all the expected family shops and great ancient temples. There are no foreign tourists. Crime is non-existent, and the people are nice and welcoming. There is a sports complex with an excellent big gym 400 meters away. I highly recommend this location. It is better (and cheaper) than the nearby upscale hotel where I stayed for one night at the end of the trip. "
