It was fine since we were only there for a couple nights. However, the hotel is not a nice as pictured. It needs a refresh. The sofa had a big rip in it and you could tell that when it was new it probably looked great but it appears there have been no efforts to refresh the room or trappings. Also, I got a large suite and it felt barebones and no effort to put a nice touch. The room was clean but nothing special.

The location was great. In the center of everything. Rooms were spacious with a nice view. The hotel was very clean and the service was immaculate. The ladies at the front desk were really nice. This was my second time spending New year’s at this hotel. The breakfast included was delicious not only American dishes but Jamaican dishes were delicious. Staying here I really enjoyed the view from the rooftop in the morning and at nights when having a cold beer. This hotel was well worth it. Thank you

The breakfast is nice, and there are many food options. There is a pool, but it is in the middle of the restaurant, so not much privacy. There is a small gym with a fair amount of equipment in the basement. Guests receive complimentary bottles of water. The lobby is nice and newly renovated, but the hotel itself and the rooms do not give four-star quality; it is more like a three-star hotel with a pool and a good restaurant. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Staff are friendly and polite. The cable TV did not work for most of my stay, which was disappointing. The area is okay, it's walkable to Devon House, the New Kingston Business Centre, Emancipation Park and fast-food restaurants. It may not be a great idea to walk alone at night, though, as there is a homeless encampment nearby on Dumfries Street. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
