Check in was AWFUL but nice place

Checking in was a nightmare. We called ahead of time like one of the emails told us to because it was gonna be after 6 when we got there. We were told we didn't have to and we were good to go. However, upon arrival (@830) we found someone in our cabin. Apparently when they entered someone "in training" only put us down for one night and tried to blame it on the 3rd party booking. Raul the night guy showed up and gave us a number to call. They wanted up to move to 12, but then move to 11 the following night. We weren't planning on being around our cabin during check out and check in times. Had to escalate to higher manager to get it booked for consecutive nights. It wasn't a hard request, but they made it difficult. After finally getting into a cabin and eating it was great. River was great. However, don't leave anything on the porch you don't want stolen. We had firewood stolen (that was replace) and another cabin had their groceries stolen.
