Could not open extra lock box for extra keys. Needed 4 for 4 adults. Text with vacasa gave wrong code for lockboxes. Once open the back up lock box, no keys in there. Did not get a key card for pool gate until an on-site agent, Jake, got one for us 4 days later. Could not open garage no code. Furniture from deck was in the way of parking, anyway. Pilot light not lit. Maintenance guy, Drew, was sent to fix later on my first day. On Thursday after daily calls, Vacasa on-site agent came Thursday
Jake gave extra parking pass. And got us a pool key card. Biggest disappointment, upper decks in hawk circle all being replaced. That was going to be my favorite thing to sit and look out. Noise was an issue when they were working on ours. One day I had to walk out around the worker's microwave and lunch bags, etc.Just diminished the ambiance a bit.
Screens by dining table are broken. No screens for upstairs double bunk room so windows could not be opened. Many windows are not latchable.
Scariest thing, no bolted bracket for right bunk ladder. It fell down the last day when my 4 y/o granddaughter was climbing. She was scared and bruised. Glad a parent had slept up there instead of my granddaughter. We found one bracket in a drawer and the other on on a closet shelf. Vacasa was notified to fix. While a beautiful place, I expect so much more for my money. On-site agent said 25$ per day would be reimbursed. I would expect fee charge be refunded. I have wasted so much time with calls and writing up reports. I will check on how things went once my grandmother home. She did throw up while in the car back to airport. She has been osely monitored by her mother who is a physician assistant
