Difficult to access with unplowed parking lot, multiple locks must be opened to get to room that require key cards which are not reliable. I was accidentally locked out of lobby, without my phone while other guests were out skiing, the only people around were 2 housekeepers who absolutely refused to help and wouldn’t even call the property management office to help me. Acted like they didn’t speak English even though I was really cold and begging for help.

Keystone Resort River Run

Cons: See above
Overall very nice unit. The one exception was the design of the master bedroom toilet. The sit down toilet was cramped into a tiny space that a standard size person would have a hard time just sitting down on. I'v never seen a toilet jammed into such a small area and the toilet was extremely short in depth so it was very uncomfortable to use. Even my partner who is a small woman had difficulty using it. Your builder really dropped the ball on this area. The other toilet was also not designed well since the toilet paper dispenser was far forward of the toilet bowl. The people that used that toilet who are not short had difficulty reaching the toilet paper. This was the only area that was extremely disappointing and should be redone in the future.

river run condo

Cons: Better pull out couch.
Excellent location...50 yds to gondola, right in center of river run village with resturants etc right next door. Condo was very clean and cozy.

Location isn't everything

Pros: Location
Cons: Interior, all of it!
The room was expensive and I thought it would be a resort type of a room. The location was great but the room was outdated (looked like I fell into the 80's), the hallways we old, worn, and outdated. The furnishings were uncomfortable and old. I felt like the location was the big seller and I was the mislead to think the interior would be resort quality.

Gorgeous location; Check-in ugly after hours

Pros: everything was in one place, park your car, you can get a Starbucks, have breakfast, shop and enjoy without having to drive anywhere.
Cons: check-in procedures, notifications, information
Location: everything was at the resort. We did shop in Silverthorne on our way back to Denver.
It took several attempts to get to the right place to check-in to our room. We arrived after 6pm (after driving 12 hours) and were greeted by several staff that seemed unsure about where we should go to check-in. Finally, we were advised to return a couple of miles down the road to the Lodge at Keystone, in order to get checked-in. After parking across the street and walking via underground tunnel (no joke) we arrived at the Lodge and were finally able to check into our rooms at River Run. While, Greg was very pleasant, he did not really alleviate or make me feel better about the lengthy time it took to figure out where we were supposed to go. What makes it even more frustrating, is that I called a few days ahead to confirm everything and advised them we would be arriving after 6pm; at no time did anyone indicated that checking in required us to go to a different location. I could find absolutely no mention of check-in location (after hours or not) on my confirmation, the website or any other location! To top it all off, we were staying at the property to attend a festival at River Run, and never received our extra event 'goodies'--- I found out about the items we were to receive ---- the night before we were to leave. The extras included yoga, a guided hike and more. The rooms were nice, the parking garage a surprise, the pool was on the small side, the resort was clean and we enjoyed walking around without having to drive anywhere.

Convenient to the slope, comfortable

Pros: The location was my favorite aspect of this hotel. Located at the base of the mountain. In addition, we cooked dinner each evening.
Cons: Although it was 15 degrees outside, the condo was hot. I had to open the windows.
Location: This hotel is a short 15 minute drive to Dillon were there is a very nice grocery store. The River Run village is located on property, just beautiful
Our Family of five stayed at River Run. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub and steam room daily. Our most favorite part was the short 5 minute walk to the slopes each morning. This Condo was very convenient and had all the necessary kitchen items to be able to cook each morning and evening. The condo is located right at the base of the mountain and we could walk each morning to the gondola or the express lift. The staff at registration was very helpful and welcoming.
