My group faced a HUGE inconvenience at this property. After checking in, we went to our room and decided to use the hot tub. It was later at night, we were in the hot tub for about thirty minutes. Then we wanted to go back to the room, and to our dismay the room card was not working. There was no reason for the card to stop working, we had no electronics. No one in our group had their cell phone, we had no money, and we had no way of reaching summit lodge. Everything was locked in our room. Even the phone in the lobby was not working. So we had to go around and knock on people’s rooms until someone let us use their cellphone. This was very uncomfortable as we were dripping wet from the hot tub. After an hour of going around the hotel someone let us use their phone. We contacted summit lodge and the guy finally let us in our room. For the cost of the room, it was not worth it, they should invest in better key cards.
