"Wonderful location! Very nice condo with amazing amenities! We loved having access to the marsh and several kayaks. This home was fully loaded for loads of beach and adventure fun supplies. Really enjoyed the screened in porch too. "

"First VRBO I didn’t want to leave. House was perfect for a family of 4. Had room for 4 more. House was very clean and basically brand new interior. Kitchen was fully equipped with new appliances, including washer and dryer. No need to bring tubs of groceries or etc.. we ordered groceries delivered from maritime market before our arrival. 2 min walk to beach (or 4 houses down). We were visiting with 3 families 4 doors down . Location was perfect near grocery and shopping. Literally middle of island location. 2 golf carts were fully charged and functional. Both in good shape. We highly recommend this home."

"The house was just lovely and perfect for our Spring Break trip. It has everything you need and is walking or golf cart close to grocery store, coffee, shops, and restaurants.The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed for cooking ‘at home’.A couple of things that were absolutely not deal breakers for us but may be to some others. One of the golf carts does have a fair amount of mildew/mold damage on the seats. It was great to have and we just laid blankets/towels down on it but if there’s any sensitivity to it it’s a good heads up.Checkout can be interesting if you’re not taking the early ferry out because a 10am checkout means that the tram will pick you up between 8:45-9:15, so you’re not really getting to experience that last day/morning on the island. With that said, they were accommodating and let us use the golf cart until 11, but we had some back and forth luggage drop off trips to harbor (tram won’t allow you to be picked up early as reservations align to ferry schedule).Overall we would definitely consider the house and hosts again!"

"Shell Cottage is in a quaint spot in the woods, yet only a few minutes to the beach by golf cart. We found the place quite comfortable and in immaculate condition. We'd stay there again!"
