I am sharing this review in hopes that management will address several serious issues we experienced during our stay.
Upon check-in, we were assigned a third-floor room, despite all elevators being out of service. This information was not disclosed prior to booking or arrival. After driving more than four hours, we arrived around 10:00 PM and had no choice but to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs.
The stairwell situation raised significant safety concerns. One stairwell was closed due to repairs, leaving only a single stairwell accessible for the entire building. In addition, maintenance supplies and materials were stored in the stairwell, creating unnecessary hazards.
Throughout the stay, the hallways had a strong paint odor, which caused me to develop a headache. The hot tub was also not operational, further reducing the amenities that were advertised and expected.
The following morning, we had to be up by 5:00 AM and again carry our luggage down three flights of stairs. I have ongoing back issues, and this resulted in painful muscle spasms. With proper disclosure or accommodation, this physical strain could have been avoided.
Given the lack of prior notification regarding inoperable elevators, limited and unsafe stairwell access, ongoing construction and paint fumes, and non-functioning amenities.
I believe a rate adjustment or partial refund would have been appropriate. I would not recommend nor will I be staying here again.
